Windshield wiper fluid spray button WAY too sensitive

I just got the car a few months ago and I keep it immaculate. This started happening shortly after purchase, since I first used the wipers. I don't believe it was debris. Also, it clearly was a change in something independent of my pressing. My pressing actions were standard and unchanging. It...

How do I turn the screen back on after it times out?

After sitting in my Model 3 for about 30 minutes or so (without engaging with the screen), the screen will turn off but the car is still on. For example, pressing the mic button still makes a beep noise or the climate control stays on if it set it to stay on. The only way I have figured out how...

What is the new FSD button when navigating in the Tesla map?

Yeah, it appw as red suddenly then went away after a a day or two. How strange.

What is the new FSD button when navigating in the Tesla map?

Since the update yesterday, I have noticed a new FSD-looking button that can be pressed (completely blue) or un-pressed (only the roadway drawing on the button is blue). It appears at the bottom of the route options when routes are navigating in the Tesla map (it is just near to the...

Windshield wiper fluid spray button WAY too sensitive

I am sorry that I didn't get back sooner. Life has been crazy lately. But, the strangest thing happened. Within a week or two after I posted this post, my button suddenly became less sensitive and seems to work normally now, just like everyone else here is describing. It is NOT my imagination...

Model 3 Refresh: How good is it? | TMC Podcast #59

I agree that this benefit is strange for Tesla and probably strains the network where it is offered. But hey, I'm going to use it if it was offered. A few dollars at work per charge vs free omw to or from wherever and only a ~25 minute wait during charge is worth it for me longterm over 6...

Windshield wiper fluid spray button WAY too sensitive

Thank you for the feedback. I will wait and see if anyone else inputs here as well, and then make a service appointment soon.

Model 3 Refresh: How good is it? | TMC Podcast #59

I agree with this. Also, I don't know about other parts of the country, but Tesla brand chargers in the L.A./OC county areas are at about max capacity as it is (and more and more people are buying Teslas here). I have the 6 months of free Tesla charging, so I exclusively use them instead of...

Windshield wiper fluid spray button WAY too sensitive

Forewarning: this is NOT another of dozens of already existing posts about the auto wiper setting. This is an inquiry/complaint about the sensitivity of the windshield wiper fluid dispenser tap on the button. So, in my 2023 Model 3 (and other models/years afaik), the left stalk end button does...

Can't select 'Current Speed' in the Autopilot controls

Fyi, I have FSD Beta enabled in my 3 and this setting is still greyed out. But I found the actual answer to this thread problem here: https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/2023-32-6-autopilot-speed-limit-change.312848/ It's nothing to do with an update glitch, but rather an either or option...

Anyone else having issue with remote climate controls lately?

I can verify with my tests that, for me, the climate control not responding to my input is 100% a conseqence of the connection to the car. Once the app changes from "'last seen x hours ago" to "parked", the climate control responds to my input 100% of the time. The reconnect is almost always...

Live Camera View no longer an option?

FYI, if you have a VPN worth its money, then it will have split tunneling option to exclude apps. Just add Tesla app to its split tunneling. It's the same as turning off the VPN, but without the downside of forgetting you turned off your VPN when you move on to other apps and web access.

Anyone else having issue with remote climate controls lately?

I just checked, and I apparently had already added the Tesla app to my split tunneling on my VPN some time ago (not clear when I did that). So it can't be a VPN issue.

Anyone else having issue with remote climate controls lately?

I bought my Tesla Model 3 a few weeks ago, and I have had this issue since day one (as far as I can recall). I noticed that it will work if I clear the app cache, force stop it, restart it, and then try the climate button. But that is totally inconvenient and time-consuming. I want to try...

How does one print the Tesla insurance document?

I am curious, how do you manage to own a Tesla without a phone? They make a phone such an integral part of the experience and they (very irritatingly) limit tons of their features exclusively to the phone app. I'm shocked to hear it's even practically doable.

How does one print the Tesla insurance document?

I just came here to say that I feel you deep on this one after discovering today that the coverage ID card is read only and therefore only able to print from the Tesla app on the phone directly. Talk about unnecessary limitations. Why why why Tesla??? Just make it printable please!

Tesla Insurance interface and documents only accessible through the app... among many other features that are app exclusive

As far as I can tell, Tesla only allows access to their insurance interface through the app. This includes all coverage interface or details whatsoever. If I want to access my coverage documents, adjust payment info, make a claim, add a vehicle, get a hold of support, or whatever else, I have to...

Does anyone have access to a CAD 3D model file of the 2020–2023 Model 3 frunk?

I am wondering if anyone has happened to come across or develop for themselves a 3D frunk model or scans that I could utilize? I'm working on a project for it, and this would save me lots of time (and potentially lots of money too). I would greatly appreciate it. <3

Frunk Security Issue - can be opened without a key - Feature not a bug

Okay, but @jeffoag did already reference the manual section you cited above and claimed otherwise. I have yet to find a definitive test of, "The following steps do not open the front trunk if Model 3 is locked and has low voltage power" and it wouldn't be the first time Tesla has fudged their...

    Do you use your frunk?

Well... this is the Model 3 section and a Model 3 post to be specific... And again, the reason for the denting is what I am getting at most here. Do the dents come from us cautious people on this forum, thinking about and learning about their vehicle and its limitations? Or do they come from...

    Do you use your frunk?

Okay, again, they don't necessarily say that because its hood is made of super thin aluminum. Again, it may be due to people having dented it after having treated it like a traditional auto's slam-down design. A more fragile hood (compared to traditional autos) doesn't necessarily equal...

    Do you use your frunk?

I've heard this claim thrown around a lot about bending/denting the frunk, but I have yet to see any evidence at all. It seems like most of the comments are from someone who knows a guy who knows a guy. The few that do directly claim denting have not posted pics or followed up with thier frunk...

Video Demo: Opening The Model 3 Frunk Using Jumper Cables

Thank you so much for this test and reply; though it does make everything even more confusing here, given the mixed results. @MarkS22 is no longer coming up as a tag-able profile. Is he still a member of Tesla Motors Club? MarkS22, did you retry this test more recently with Bluetooth disabled?

Frunk Security Issue - can be opened without a key - Feature not a bug

I am not clear on this (because it has been hard to find a definitive answer via web searches) but I read somewhere that Tesla corrected this security flaw by specifically updating the frunk manual open method to only work now if the 12V battery has no charge left. Also, the video you linked is...

What is the deal with Tesla's lag on auto frunk capabilities?

@android04 You have a good point about the Model 3 being the budget model and, tbh, for how much I paid for it, I am totally blown away by how much punch it packs in features and just all around as a car. Also, you and @MP3Mike are correct, the Taycan apparently does not have an auto frunk; the...

    problem with scheduling precondition

Right??? I have only been a Tesla owner for a few days and, for all the high-tech cool things that they have implemented into their cars, this is one of those few things I have noticed where I'm like wat??? It's not a complicated programming task to allow options for days of the week.

What is the deal with Tesla's lag on auto frunk capabilities?

Okay, but, to play devil's advocate, don't none of the Tesla models have an auto frunk option? Also, I specifically read that Porsche does. My original point is that, more and more, car makers are going to trunk auto open/close. Tesla has an innovator reputation, and yet, they are quickly...

What is the deal with Tesla's lag on auto frunk capabilities?

This is what I read online re other Tesla frunk complaints and not based upon my personal research. But, a cursory search revealed the following electric frunk opening brands: Ford, GMC, Chevy, Rivivan, Porsche, and I think maybe Lucid?

What is the deal with Tesla's lag on auto frunk capabilities?

Oh shoot, I blundered this post and Tesla Motors Club severely limits editing posts (I am not able to). The auto open feature doesn't actually even lift the frunk afaik. Trying to recall now and it is blurry for a two-day owner. My apologies if I made people scratch their heads on this oversight...

What is the deal with Tesla's lag on auto frunk capabilities?

I just got my first Tesla (Model III) a few days ago. It comes from the factory with an auto frunk open feature, which, come to find out, is apparently a new feature that was just recently added (from the factory and barring aftermarket options). When I found this out, I was astounded; Tesla the...
