Cost to repair a scratch like this

Would making sure the car goes into very high suspension help with that? I've never really had a car this nice, but I have taken such good care of them that they look as good as the day I got them (except for one minor accident). It would be devastating to repaint it only for this to re-occur.

Cost to repair a scratch like this

Sorry, could you explain? Is the front bumper on a Model S usually plastic?

Cost to repair a scratch like this

Found a car I really like and is a great deal for what it is. It’s been used roughly (roof damage that the dealer is fixing) + a few paint chips (likely from gravel). However, I walked away due to this scratch on the bumper….if anyone has experienced a similar paint damage issue, I’d really...

    2019 Long Range Model S with 110k miles $5k more vs 2018 Model S 100D with 80k miles

Not sure which one is "worth" at this point. I would prefer the Raven update for the sake of efficiency and the extra year on warranty, but I feel like the materially lower mileage on the 2018 model offsets the premium for the 2019 model. Would appreciate any advice here. Thank you!

Repainted bumpers on 120k+ miles Model S...less than $35k

Yeah, my family said as much. That was a point of concern, as well; i.e. if the car was driven roughly/battery was supercharged a lot and had materially deteriorated.

Repainted bumpers on 120k+ miles Model S...less than $35k

Absolutely, he emphasized how he wanted a customer who is not super detail-oriented and how they sold the car as-is, with no warranty (standard but still rude).

Repainted bumpers on 120k+ miles Model S...less than $35k

I asked about the bumper condition and if it had PPF. The dealer said no PPF but he just repainted the bumper. That's what sparked the conversation. In my last car, they didn't disclose aftermarket paint and parts (I didn't know to ask) which then started flaking in a few years and discolored...

Repainted bumpers on 120k+ miles Model S...less than $35k

Thanks fkr the feedback…definitely feel like this car would sell fast given the pricing despite mileage. The software, interior, and body looked ok over FaceTime but the way that some of these used dealers are like “hmm this may not be for you” just makes me want to walk away instantly. Oddly...

Repainted bumpers on 120k+ miles Model S...less than $35k

Did a facetime with a local used car dealer about a car he had on the lot. Over 120k miles Model S with Raven update. But when I asked to focus on the bumpers and they showed me, he said they painted it and weren't going to tell me what paint they used (?). Everything else (lights, wheels...
