If I plug the car into the charger, it starts charging whether I have Smart charging enabled or not. Tesla says the IO is continually trying to charge the cr overnight but keeps getting the message that the car is either asleep or unavailable.

My settings are the same as yours. The only difference is that mine is set to cellular (I got the Easee primarily for the lifetime free cellular) which I can't imagine makes any difference as the cellular connectivity is working just fine. And I get the 'charging equipment not ready' continually...

I've just disabled WiFi in the car and Bluetooth on the phone and the app still woke the car up. So, whether or not the car is connected to WiFi a poor cellular signal will still cause the charge to fail?

Thanks. The Easee One charger access has been set to 'open' so no authentication is required to charge and no schedule is set. Solid white lights on the charger suggesting it is connected and no schedule is set. So I am fairly confident that this isn't causing the issue.
