    Ingenext Boost Modules [aftermarket]

I finally got an email back, they said as long as you unplug the module before having the service performed all you’ll have to do is plug it back in once you get it the car back and it works fine.

    Ingenext Boost Modules [aftermarket]

Has anyone with the ghost or boost module had the FSD hardware upgrade? Was curious if I took the module out and had Tesla do the upgrade if it would work the same once I plugged it back in. I would think so since it’s just tied to my VIN. I tried reaching out to Ingenext and they never...

You spent wayyyyy too much time trying to defend a defect device. Which is the fact you need to soak into your noggin. You plug in a DEFECT device to your cars ECU. One that fools the car. Per the EPA… “ And defeat devices are more commonly associated in the popular mind with recent major EPA...

    Ingenext Boost Modules [aftermarket]

Trust me, I’ve been in fixed operations management for a large automotive corporation for years. I deal with warranty claims everyday. In 27 years not once at any dealer I’ve represented has anyone ever reversed a warranty decision or cancellation by a manufacturer. I have the ghost on my car...

Every electric car has a MPGe rating from the environmental protection agency. That score is the environmental impact and it changes based on many factors. Yes, they do have emissions based on how much energy a car takes to do a distance.

    Ingenext Boost Modules [aftermarket]

Federally mandated recalls are not updates, they are recalls and can be forced. The module allows a lot of other options like continuous battery heating, off road and 2wd and drift functions, and allows you to bypass updates and recalls. Also by changing the power commanded you’re changing the...

Of course updates work, the option to not have it done until you know it’s safe is gone if you update the module. What happens if Tesla sends an update that wipes out all use of Ingenext modules? You won’t have any warning or choice, you’ll simply have a paperweight .

    Ingenext Boost Modules [aftermarket]

I don’t know about you all but I’d not update the module. It’s pretty obvious they got pressured to remove that option by someone else and that leaves it wide open for Tesla to send an update and deem your $2000 module useless. Does your boost or ghost work fine? Leave it alone. Can you block...

They worked with me when I did the boost to ghost upgrade but I’ve sent countless emails asking about upgrading to a FSD computer and if it will affect my module and crickets. I’ll just keep it as is, never update or upgrade it, and leave it as is till plaids are in the 50’s used

One, a body shop has no business doing software updates. Two, I highly doubt it bricked it. Sounds like it just failed to update and they freaked out and sent it to Tesla. All scenarios combined, that makes more sense since nobody else has ever bricked their car when they personally updated it...

It could be something as far as Tesla pressuring a lawsuit if they didn’t remove that option since it interferes with a federally mandated recall. Just guessing, all I know is I’m not upgrading. It works now and I definitely don’t want to risk it ever not working.

In the email it says also if you do this update the “allow update” feature will no longer be available which is concerning to me.

You had it at a Tesla service center, that makes it a lot more different than just an update bricking it. I’m sure if you installed it again it would work just fine.

I have a 2018 LR with Ghost and my 0-60 on the app was 3.56 during a 11.7 1/4 run at the dragstrip. So by what others have listed seems to be fairly accurate.
