How are you getting Oneida? There are only 3 locations for delivery in NY, and Oneida isn't one of them. Unless you're having it shipped.

Given how much into tech Tesla is, I'm surprised you can't see the status of your order at any given time. Kind of like Dominos does when you order a pizza, you can see each stage in the app. It doesn't even need to be specific, just something general so at least you know something is happening.

When getting quotes, don't say it's for an EV, and especially don't say it''s for a Tesla. Just say you want a NEMA 14-50R installed. Or say it's for a welder. As soon as these places hear EV or Tesla the price inflates.

I'm in NY so it may be different, but I had to prove insurance, and the insurance card needs to show the VIN and have the scannable barcode. If you don't have that you can't register the car. You can add to to your insurance and make the efffective date whatever your delivery date is. I just...

I got assigned the Brookyln location, on the 22nd. They said they could look into taking delivery at the Westchester location but I didn't want to risk any delays.

I ordered the RWD on Jan 10th. Got a VIN yesterday with EDD of Feb 19-27th

I don't have that date yet. Looks like the closest to me might be Rochester. Although when I was going to schedule a demo drive the closest place that had the new Model 3 was Ontario. Rochester is a couple hours away for me and I hate to ask someone for a ride to I might just rent a car one way.

Just got my VIN! Was checking the app like I normally do and there it was. Order date was Jan 10. EDD was Feb 06 - Mar 05. Now it's Feb 19th - Feb 27th. RWD, Stelth Gray I need to upload proof of insurance. Should I do that now, or wait until the delivery date gets closer?

First date was just Feb - Mar. Then a couple weeks ago switched to the Feb 06 - Mar 05. I ordered the stock RWD, no other upgrades.

That happened to me when I ordered the 2023 M3. Each day it got pushed out by one day. Then I had to reconfigure the order for the 2024 model.

I was wondering the same myself. Approved and accepted my lease terms on January 10th and placed order. Feb 6-Mar 5 is my estimated delivery date. So if there's a delay I'm past the 60 days. Worst case I guess is I apply again and take another hit on my credit.
