    3-Piece Wheels for Model X

Thanks RichardMCC! A few questions that have been posed: Offset - I am not 100% certain, I recall being told it was +30. I recall asking for the most aggressive possible to maximize the concavity of the wheel faces. Rubbing Issues - There is audible rubbing on the front axle on full lock...

Frustrated finding wheel bearing part (1027170-00-a)

Update - I removed the 610-490 studs and installed the 610-434 instead. Much better now that I don't have to use the open-ended lug nuts.

I've got the 22x10 & 22x11 setup. It rubs the liner slightly at full lock turns when reversing harshly in the very low setting (on links). Not really a problem. Not sure what the offsets are - they were custom made for the Model X.

22’ Model X Onyx Black Referral Wheels And Tires - Southern California - $3500

Not with those tires - I've seen model S with 22" wheels, so it's possible. If you meant if it will fit in a model S or transport- it will with the seats folded down, and creative stacking.

I'm afraid so. You'll need to look for a higher-rated wheel.

    Changing wheels: TPMS, size,wight Qs

The offsets were maintained - but since I lowered the suspension I had to re-align everything anyway.

    Changing wheels: TPMS, size,wight Qs

For #2 - I went staggered simply because the rear wheel well can fit a wider wheel. I went up to an 11" width (22" x 11") wheel. It's best to get wider wheels in the back since the rear will need it under acceleration, and most torque will be there. #3 - It's ideal if you want to preserve the...

No mention of mileage in CPO order agreement

The MVPA or proforma version of it should list the odometer. Just relax, let the sales advisor generate the documents. The automated version might have glitched out. Congrats by the way!!! Did you request photos of the vehicle beforehand?

Help - has this happened to any other Model X owner?

This makes the most sense to me. I've gotten too reliant on the brake hold mode as well waiting to pick up passengers and have inadvertently deactivated it by tapping on the brakes a second time. Good thing creep mode is off for my profile, so I can catch it and park it in time. My guess is for...

    285/35/22 all around

not sure if you still need this info, but it won't work. tires are too wide for the front wheels. Wheel is 9" wide, the tire's range is 9.5-11. you can however, change the rears to 265/35R22. Wheel width range on that size is 9-10.5", and the rear wheel is 10" wide. Are you planing on...

Frustrated finding wheel bearing part (1027170-00-a)

I just replaced the wheel studs this weekend. @David.85D I've never lubed wheel studs before, so that can't be the issue. Anyhow, I used the closest part from Dorman with the same dimensions as the original stud: Dorman 610-490 (everything matches except it's slightly longer) Bought a 10...

Frustrated finding wheel bearing part (1027170-00-a)

Are you running Falken Azenis tires? (Warning)

The inside lip of the wheel usually get scuffed up from the automatic car washes (guidance rails the car tracks on). Although the pic of that wheel doesn’t look that bad?

Frustrated finding wheel bearing part (1027170-00-a)

Anyone have wheel studs from an old hub they no longer need? My hub is good, but I sheered off a stud with a torque wrench trying to get up to the 129ft/lb mark.
