I ordered 2/5 and got vin 3/3. Appears to be a pretty consistent timeframe.

Man I hate the yoke but to be honest the front dash is useless with a wheel. I can’t see the visualizer, speed, etc without moving my head around the wheel.

Yep built 2/29 supposedly. Planned full front and flares ppf and front windows tint to match rear. Not looking to get too fancy as I found that just set off haters all the time in my Y

Took delivery today and car is beautiful. Fit and trim and all look great. Rides wonderful. No front camera and no rainbow lights. Could not ask for a better build to be honest.

So for where I am, CO, can confirm I have a build date provided of 2/29 and a delivery date to the center tonight, pick up tomorrow. I don’t think you can call any car past x date a reject when you have to take transportation and logistics into account.

So you don’t need to place insurance until the day of pick up (in reality your current policy likely covers new/replacement vehicles for X amount of time after purchase). You have plenty of time and there is no way they get a delivery date and paperwork together without a VIN. Give it time and...

FWIW I have seen people do this to themselves over Teslas for years and years and years. Can’t wait forever in a hope. Especially anything related to updates.

Received invitation for scheduling pick up today. Scheduled for next week. Will confirm if anything is there. Hopes are not up lol
