I think delivery was in Sep 2015. I have never had any battery specific service. Don't remember it being removed for anything else. Car has only ever been in for regular service/maintenance etc.

Update: So I finally got the service done at Richmond, TX service center. They ended up billing me $310 after taxes for this service. Service was pretty fast and they claimed fuse was changed but from how they were explaining it ("fuse will be compliant with all future software upgrades") it...

Given that its a “fuse” is it safe to assume that I can leave the car parked in a garage (not connected to charger) for a couple weeks? The timing of this alert is not ideal :).

I never have luck with these requests :), but I will give it a try.

Ill report back what I find. I already had a mobile service scheduled for the frunk interior trim was no longer flush after the replaced the 12v battery and this alert popped up. They just added it to the same appointment.

Hmm I am past the 8yr limit so I am assuming warranty wont apply to me. App also shows warranty is expired.

Got this alert and estimate is approximately $730. Approximately $260 in parts and $470 in labor. 2015 Model S 85D Insane. From one of the posts above it seems like only upgraded to Ludicrous have this? Anything I should ask when the mobile service comes to fix this?
