Took delivery today. No noticeable defects. Took 2 hours 45 minutes to get the car after my appointment due to a software update, and then having to wash it, which was a horribly done job. Dropped off immediately for full PPF and window tint.

I just put down deposit for mine. $6k for full PPF.

EDD is 3/29-3/31. Not able to schedule yet.

The big influx of a bunch of us getting VINs yesterday and today has me optimistic about the upgrades. Seems to me like there was a bit of a lull in VINs once Teslascope announced the changes

Just got my VIN, ordered 3/4/24, EDD 3/29-31. MS LR, Stealth Gray, 19 in tempest, Black interior, yoke.

I reloaded my phones browser and saw the RGB, and got so excited someone picked up an S with the rumored upgrades. Now I’m depressed after realizing it’s the M3.

What changed from the new models to so drastically decrease the range?

I have a LR on order, but the app just asked me if I want to select a similar car from existing inventory. Only Plaid vehicles are showing. Why the huge difference in range? I went LR solely for the bigger range. But then I saw this. Why the difference?

Does this for the FSD transfer mean the vehicle can’t be financed? I have to fully own it? Be the legal owner and registrant of the current vehicle with Full Self-Driving capability purchased outright until at least 48 hours after delivery of your new vehicle;

I’m realizing this now, I thought to transfer the FSD, I had to trade in my car. Didn’t realize it was just take delivery of a new car! That seals it, I’m rejecting the offer.

Makes it hard for me to justify getting the S then, was sold on it because of the free transfer. Logic was to then keep the model S until it doesn’t work anymore since it would make an excellent family car, and pretty great for roadtrips for the wife and I.

I have the same build except with a yoke, i ordered 3/4/2024, and my EDD is 3/8-29. Super weird I ordered three months after you but have an earlier EDD.
