Checked the app today and saw EDD update for first time in a month or so, and a VIN assigned !!! Omg this is happening. OD: Jan 14 Long Range, Stealth Grey, White, 18 wheels Wyoming/Colorado Area EDD: May 6 - May 12 (was July 06 - Aug 17)

I am 1/14 order showing July 6 - August 17 since beginning of April and no updates … lol.

I went to Tesla SC today and told them I’m sick of waiting, and what are they doing about it. The rep was completely useless and said they can give me black interior. Other than that nothing else. They didn’t even know that there is white interior inventory at other locations. I said well why...

Ugh they are pretty bad at this customer experience thing aren’t they ? Order Date : January 14 That VIN Match message is from March 19 🤡 Oh I am going to wait as long as it takes lol. I’m prepared to hold until 2026. Then I will just get Model Y Juniper lol.

Let them .. haha. By November we will have more details about Model Y refresh hopefully and maybe I’ll just wait for that one lol. Honestly though it looks like they’re finally producing them so I expect the production to ramp up in next few weeks and all January orders fulfilled within next 30...

I’m stuck at July - August but seeing how I’m 1/14 OD I’m sure there’s a couple hundred stealth gray in front of me.

Omg why don’t they prioritize these white interiors and fulfill all of our January orders. Did they make like a very limited batch of white pieces just now and used this “run” to evaluate the quality of some new manufacturer or something ???? Now we wait another month before they give a “nod”...

Yeah. I live in a state where we get a lot of snow from November to March and those wheels and tires outshadow the performance aspects. I would have to spend another $2k on all season tires and wheels package and switch them up…. Not sure if that tax credit is point of sale ? If not then for me...

Thing is - these are also “staggered” wheels. In other words the back tires are wider. So you can’t just rotate front to back. That , the performance aspect of it and you’re looking at a very nice $2000 a year or more tires expense… So that is something to be prepared for, for sure. Is it...

I’m sure it will be OK. But personally I much rather prefer 18 tires due to comfort for longer drives. However seeing how they added “adaptive suspension” now , I wonder if putting 18” or 19” on this performance would result in even better ride hmmmm. Oh well.

Performance … staggered wheels and summer tires … not for when we’ve got winter for 6 months here in Wyoming. Also 20” wheels not as comfy as 18” Ugh. I’ll pass. Waiting for LR :/

Yeah I totally agree. You’d think that by now they would have spent a few engineering cycles and get their system all nice and proper, you know .. for a nice customer experience for all of us first time buyers …

I ordered on January 14th. Stealth Gray / Long Range / White Interior / 18 inch wheels. Pretty frustrating how it keeps getting pushed. Latest push for me is now July 6 - August 17 I am holding strong. This can’t go on forever?
