    Drivers door will not open

Mine was also fixed at Service center... BTW turned my auto present doors off after realizing that I needed to sneak up on my car since it was curb parked along a street. Needed to wait for gap in traffic to approach my car so as not to have the door knocked off by the passing vehicles. Love the...

Nissan Reveals Frontier Sentinel Truck That Packs LEAF Batteries

Swing and a miss... wow... Nissan had me going there for a moment... the engine bay is likely easily convertible... the under cab and bed area could probably hold at least 80kW and we get this... a nothing burger. SO the prize is still out there waiting for the company that wants to eat some...

    Joining the X family

We got our Model X in october... no issues worth whining about... everything so far addressed to my satisfaction... Trailer hitches are back ordered so... but the rest has been great. We likewise needed the Model X so we could avoid crawling into our car in various ways... better to get in...

What did you name your model X?

When I first brought my Model X home I called it Midi Vidi... a possibly wrong latin reference to Mid Life... since that is what my family refers to as the reason I had to have a Tesla. Then as we drove it and my 17 and 21 year old children were using the Falcon Wing doors they kept saying how...

    Rain sensors work FLAWLESS!

Frequency changed appropriately when the rain increased. Seemed to work great with loads more rain and mist from roadway after.

    Rain sensors work FLAWLESS!

We were out and about today in the mist and drizzle... seemed to work fine. Gonna test more tomorrow.

Are the official Model X snow chains compatible with the Model X?

Before you go far... double check the wheel well clearance. My old Ford Flex disallowed chains altogether because of fender clearances. I think this is part of why the tesla recommends these chains and tires.

    Tire Bands for 22"

Seems the Gators use little visible clips... don't care for those... guessing that the adhesive lasts a year or 2... also has anyone had wheels rebalanced after install? necessary?

2017 VIN Model X Order and Delivery

Driving on the California highways this week I saw many car carriers loaded with Teslas... not sure where they are going some in central valley and some in Tehachapi on way east... so hopefully some of you will be getting yours soon!

Inventory X. What is acceptable wear and tear?

Based on our experience... just picked up a month ago... 2k miles inventory Model X... one paint chip on hood touched up on delivery... also noted tow package and am waiting for that from service... back ordered. The car was otherwise in fine shape... missing the sunshade... noted and...

Longer production times... Are there any facts or just theories??

I wouldn't assume anything is wrong except the push to get a win with delivering more Model 3. I read something about them pulling folks off the S/X lines to help expedite the 3. They obviously need to balance this... but currently this may be why things are running slower than normal. I...

    MX Rear Heat Performance

Sure glad the Subzero pack is included in Premium... We got spoiled by having four heated seats and steering wheel in our Nissan LEAF SL. Heating the seats is far more efficient than using traction battery to heat cabin. Saves range.

Model S or Model X, need help!

My wife and I needed the Model X as she has replaced hips and can't climb in and out of a low slung car... now that we have our X we have fallen in love with the windshield. The airplane cockpit feel of the front seats feels so open and airy. You can see more from the front of this car than...

Looks at least weeks off to the opening...

    Acceleration Shudder

I agree that having that on does induce a shudder/vibration in the steering wheel when drifting over lines. This definitely should be ruled out before bothering the Service Center about it.

How about a bridge to Model III in a economy Model S.

Why not provide one model of the 60 that has a lower price and is the best possible range options. Maybe a 180hp motor with the skinnier tires for lower rolling resistance. Top speed of 90 and an eco mode to go maybe 250 miles easy at lower price? Eco Model anyone? I know it goes...
