Credit Unions with good rates that accept applicants anywhere within the US?

When I applied with Armco, I had sent them my NC temp registration as part of the docs they wanted. They didn’t say a word about it.

Credit Unions with good rates that accept applicants anywhere within the US?

I know at some point another poster here about Armco’s instructions having the title go straight to them without us being asked to do anything or provide a PoA to them. Well they called me yesterday to let me know they are sending me the title so I can go get them added as a lienholder myself...

To be clear though, they aren’t talking about opening a new app if they didn’t get ready in time for delivery, they are talking about changing your existing app from New Car Purchase to Refinance. Even in Feb when they had the special running, refinance was the same rate, so one would expect...

Does anyone want a free wireless charger for flip up model 3 (2019 style console)?

If you’d be willing to ship it to NC, I’d be happy to pay for the shipping. Our 2018 Model 3 has a Taptes charger that worked great until we upgraded past iPhone 11s. The newer ones are too big for our pad since the Taptes has a large bottom lip, leaving insufficient room for the phone.

Acceleration Boost option standard for all LR Model Ys?

I have to say I got a Model 3 LR loaner with AB and wow that thing is wicked. It is seriously making me think about getting AB on my Y. One of my friends has a Y with AB and his wife has a Y without AB. I think after I drive my Y a bit more, I'll take his for a spin After all, the 3 is more...

Charging stopped notification, but not really

Hmmm. I got the alert once after 15 minutes, but mine actually did stop charging and the port turned red. My wall connector stayed green and worked fine when I removed and reinserted it.

Looking for Model Y Wheel Covers Gray 10 or 11 spoke

I put 14 spoke covers on mine and love the look. They are gun gray and match the trim well. I have center caps for them, but my stickers of the T logo haven’t arrived yet, so I haven’t put them on in this pic.

You won’t on an Austin-built car, but you may decide that’s best if you had experience with both. My 3 has the same lights as your Y will have and my Y has matrix lights — I much prefer the 3’s. The matrix lights look like you are seeing the projected light through a wire screen, with dark lines...

Your brother probably got it from the dealer. It’s cheaper with 3rd party financing. Personally, I got it, but I also got $70k on the loan. You never know if the car gets totaled and Tesla is 2024 drops prices from the 2023 spot, you may end up with a shortfall. That said, you may have an...

Those of you who went with Armco CU, did anyone else get a $25 eSign Bonus deposited into their share savings account on 3/2? That was a nice, unexpected perk and more than paid for the $20 donation to the BC3 Foundation.

Did the DocuSign package include instructions for the current lienholder to mail then the title directly? I was surprised they didn’t ask me to file the paperwork to add the lien myself.

They did mine. Now granted I didn’t have the complication @tynr has with cross-state registrations, but I sent Armco my temp registration and they still managed to process my loan prompted and mail the refi check. The refi check cleared yesterday and I still only have a temp tag.

I’ve been approved and had my savings & checking account opened for almost three weeks now with no replies to the messaging system or phone calls. They need some proof of insurance before they let you drive away with the car. @YisPatHere and others, I wanted to share that today I accepted delivery of my vehicle. Accept or Reject?

Today I took delivery of my car. I was very surprised to see that the scratches indeed come out with some buffing. I really thought this would lead to needing a repaint, but thankfully didn't. The "rippling" wasn't what it seemed in the sunlight after the car was detailed. It has some orange...

Tesla is going to look the car over today and get back to me on what the fix would be. I suspect it would be repainting the right side (rear door to bumper) and bondo plus repaint for the driver side doors. But I’m not an expert on what the damage is and we’ll see if maybe it wouldn’t be a...

Thankfully no. My delivery isn't today, but I swung by and I got there just after it was pulled off the carrier. I was checking out the exterior without any rush. Neither my S or 3 had any issue like this, just minor adjustment stuff and tweaks.

I’m conflicted. What do you all think about this issues on my car? Would you accept delivery of this? Arbitrage was replying to my post about adding a VIN to your online profile, not when it’s stamped onto the car. What I was saying is some folks don’t see their vin on the website or app until the car is actually at the delivery center vs. getting it before transport or even before production.

Just because you don’t have a vin doesn’t mean your car hasn’t been built. Many times it will be the delivery center that releases the vin to your profile, so it could still be in transport to the local service center. This is why some folks get a vin assignment and can then schedule delivery...

    Locked Out Completely

Sounds like the 15v system shut off, potentially from the 15v battery getting too low. If that was the case, the car wouldn’t “turn on” and respond to the app nor the cards. However, if you pop off the cap on the bumper, you can provide an alternative power source to get those systems up and...
