Thanks MGS. Im new to battery cars, but a google brought me this: How Long Does a Tesla Battery Last? - Insurify I would have thought the failure issues would be around some of the sensor technology in use. If they fail, does the car not start/stop/cool/heat/guide?

Thanks Ken, I havent bought it yet so i dont know the terms you mention, but i will ask the salesmen about them. UK average mileage insurance wise is 12000, but i intend only 5000 year, so hopefully i can pull back a high miler to average.

Many thanks for that EVRider, 20000 is average for company car drivers in the UK , but for me I intend to use it only for long distance / holiday use, so i expect to only put 5000 a year on it, and im planning on taking a after market warranty as well.
