The only issues I've had are with the Whispbar attachment. Long story short, the clamp that holds the bike's downtube sucks. I'd go with a Thule or something else. I've driven from North Carolina to Colorado three times with bikes on top of the car.

I have - for the past three summers - driven my P85D from North Carolina to Colorado and back with my Specialized Demo 27.5 and my wife's Davinci Troy 27.5 on top. ;) There are a few long stretches where we had to be careful and charging definitely takes longer, but aside from that it's been great.

My P85D with 19s is super quiet on the highway. I've driven VWs and Audis for awhile, so maybe I'm just used to something much louder. I asked my wife and she thinks it's quiet as well.
