When we were looking into buying, I was told it has equal length half-shafts, so it shouldn't have any. So far, I haven't felt ANY torque steer in my 85D. (I've had a couple FWD cars that had unbelievable torque steer...)

I walk past there since it's just off a nice bike/walking path. There are pretty much always a couple dealer plated cars in the current four stalls.

Stopped by to have service look at an issue, noticed 6 more Super Charger stalls going up. Service Advisor says they are waiting on Com Ed to turn the power on.

Ran an errand this afternoon in the northern Chicago suburbs, saw 5, besides my own. 1 White, 2x Black (including a black that had no 'number' on the right side, I hadn't seen that before) and 2x Light Gray.

Mine came with what looked like a rock chip (or maybe just a missed spot) UNDER the clear coat. The delivery specialist noted it as a 'to fix', but we haven't discussed specifics. Pretty much invisible, unless you know to look for it, so of course I see it every time I walk up to it from the front.

I refuse to answer that question. [I deal with international folks on my team at work. It's less confusion for the Europeans because they do the day/month different than we do here in the states. Is 6/5 June 5'th or May 6'th? Depends on your local convention 8)]

Got a call this evening, scheduled to pick it up on Tuesday, late afternoon. (45 days from order to delivery.) How often in life do you wait for a Tuesday afternoon? :biggrin:

Checked with my DS. My car (and a number of others I would think) is in the Joliet,IL BNSF logistics center. His best guess is about week out now.

Any other Chicago area folks get this good news? I hope travwill's isn't the only one on that truck

Status went to back in the production queue. I'm guessing it's now done and ready to be shipped then.

Make sure there is room on that for my Chicago bound 85D also!

Added mine. Looks like there will be another one in the northern Chicago 'burbs. Decided to trade the Boss 302 in for something more practical :wink:
