It happened to me after the screen crashed and I did a reboot. Reboot the system with your foot on the brake until the noise goes away. It may take several attempts.

I think they try to integrate the radio with the car's exisiting display and controls. That is my understanding and hope. Having a 15" screen and having to use your phone for Sirius is sad. The challenge for them is to connect to a USB port and have their radio talk to the car.
