Not an issue with a properly executed layup. I use eight layers of 2 aerospace grade fabrics. 12K 2x2 twill on the visible layers for cosmetics. Zoltek 50K quadaxial fabric in between. Same stuff is used in wind turbine blades, so it should be fine supporting a front spoiler and undertray ;)...

Is this the immersion sensor error? You can unplug the sensor and it goes away. Though you do have to remove the pack and get the front cover off first.

I finally found some time to install one of my new pumps from @EV Support UK. Top picture shows the new pump on the left vs (broken) OEM on the right. Slight differences in the design, but the new pump performs at least as well as OEM! Sounds and feels just the same. Highly recommend picking one...

I was able to get the "T2" OEM 295/30/21s, through a friend with a wholesale account. Only difference I could find between it and the original "T1" tire was an additional sensor with BlueTooth connectivity, for use with Michelin's track app.

I've been having the same problem with a front hood latch (same part). It'll release on the highway and the hood will bounce up and down on that side. No damage though. The trunk is made from carbon fiber, so it'll break before it loses its shape. I'd try taping it down with green painters tape...

Brake vacuum pump is under the driver side headlight and gets 12V when ignition is on. I believe it's fused at 7.5A.

Any way you want it. Gloss or matte is determined by the sprayed finish coat. I've got at least 7 different rolls of fabric, from traditional 2x2 weaves to triaxial spread tow.

Wanted a refresh spoiler on my wife's LR, so I created a mold and popped this out today... This is just a test fit after rough trimming. Tried a red metallic carbon fiber fabric hoping it would go with the vinyl wrap. Not liking it as much as I thought. Going back to traditional black carbon on...

Fresh out of the mold this morning. This one uses a spread tow 12K fabric, making it slightly different from OEM but looks great. Especially from further away - the characteristic twill line is more visible. I've registered an LLC and will have a website up soon to process orders.

And the daytime drone shots no one asked for 🙃. I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I'm loving it. Mostly wanted to see how challenging the fabric would be to work with (extremely challenging).
