Yet another test drive thread (sorry for the length)

I am an Australian who has been driving a P85D since August last year. On delivery, it had TACC, but not auto-pilot (i.e., the hardware was there, but Tesla hadn't released the software yet). If I knew you better, Jagwease, I'd say not to even think about getting the car without auto-pilot. It...

"Secret Sauce" power upgrade coming - beyond Ludicrous

Invoking max. battery power is a necessary prerequisite for 'launch mode' - check the manual or software release notes, or YouTube for launch mode explanations and demonstrations.

AP in heavy highway traffic My experience is similar to Keiron's. Bendigo to Melbourne on the Calder. Near perfect at any speed, including bumper to bumper. Also, Keiron, if you need access to a charge at Bendigo, PM me. Lastly, what is your longest drive so far on a single charge...

    7.0 in Australia

    7.0 in Australia

Range So did you do 400 km on the one overnight charge in the P85D, still with 20% charge left? That's impressive, if so. I see you were in range mode. Are Ray's tips to you here on the forum, or private? I've not been game enough yet to try such a distance, and found your post very...

Indicated Rated Range lower than it should be - Australian Experience

Thanks, Keiron - interesting experiences you've had. I have only yet driven to Melbourne a couple of times. I am driving Bendigo to Melbourne again tomorrow. I have topped up at Richmond, and found that convenient and quick. I am still less than 2000 kms, so still working things out here, but...

Indicated Rated Range lower than it should be - Australian Experience

I meant to reply directly to you with the following, but ended up (as a silly newbie) posting elsewhere. Anyway, I'd meant to ask and to say: - Keiron - can you tell me what you're driving? I am resident in Bendigo, and travel quite a bit to Melbourne and suburbs. I have a P85D on order ...

    Supercharger - Euroa VIC

Keiron - can you tell me what you're driving? I am resident in Bendigo, and travel quite a bit to Melbourne and suburbs. I have a P85D on order ... curious as to your experiences of Dandenong-Bendigo return that you've described here ... If you ever found yourself caught short in Bendigo, I...
