    With the Tesla API, it should seem possible to create Vera home automation plug-in and assign one of the Scene switches to unlock the car. Maybe geo-fence it: button only works if car is nearby.

    The Palo Alto Service Center had the 14-30 in stock as recently as Dec 2015. My question is are they prone to the same fire problem that caused the 14-50 "recall"?

    If you have a completely depleted Model S, how far can you get with a single power wall charge? (without grid or solar connections) Based on some quick maths, somewhere between 10 and 21 miles?
