    His 3 things: 1) range of 300+. Tesla has even if he doesn't 2) charging network. Tesla has even if he doesn't 3) price. He has a 16k new car so if that's the target, tesla isn't there. 2 of 3... and the third isn't as much of a hurdle as he implies.

    Tesla S 100D Sooooo slow to start up

    Only happens to my wife's 100D when: 1) it wasn't plugged in before we get in 2) the car's cold (possibly tied to my 1st comment) because Indiana winter. I haven't followed all the cross linked threads but... anyone have the problem in summer?

    Fan noise (whirring sound) when car is off?

    is this while charging or after driving? Might be the car cooling the batteries. A fun moment: after numerous SC charges (all in the winter), doing a SC charge in 90+ F degrees yielded significant fan noise when outside which startled me somewhat (not able to hear it inside, however).

    Inventory cars, same price as ordering brand new

    Perhaps because they don't have to discount further to sell them? My understanding (I could be wrong!) is that mileage (of demo cars/loaners) and how long it has been in inventory both have impacts on the cost -- but they're pretty small. I'd have to ask a sales person (talked with one about...
