From Reno (which isn't far from Tahoe), I usually prefer heading east and go thru Hawthorne, NV, Tonopah, Beatty, then hit Las Vegas. Even when I travel to San Diego, I go thru Hawthorne on 95 then hit 6 back over to 395 on down to Lone Pine, etc. This route helps me avoid winter road issues...

Just use a 50amp breaker. I ran mine to a 14-50 outlet which is rated for 50amps anyway and I use my mobile charger that came with my car which only charges at 32amps and is plenty for overnight charging.

I would contact roadside assistance. I've only done that once and they called me back to understand the problem I was having and by the time they called, it had been resolved. Don't know if that would work in all cases but worth a try.

How's that Nov. construction looking? We had planned to be in the area by the end of Nov. but my Dad passed and it's looking more like the end of Jan. now. This would be a welcome SC when we are there as we frequent that area while staying.

The word "may" is key to understanding that. If someone bought a new car that came with this feature, they might need to be reminded that some AP and FSD features won't be available until the cameras are calibrated. It doesn't say "recalibrated" as it should if the new feature required it.

It seems inconsistent to me from my own experience. A road I drive on to and from our development doesn't limit speed in TACC in either direction but if I go into FSD, it limits me to my set +5 mph in one direction and drops it to the exact limit the other. That usually results in me using FSD...

I believe you are supposed to tap the camera icon on the screen and it is supposed to save the last 10 sec or so in a separate file. I haven't tried it yet and hope I never actually need to use it but guess it would be good to try it out before really needing it.
