Goal is to save 10-15k. Have other financial responsibilities but bonus and tax return might make that closer to 20k. Using Simple to save for it. You can set a goal for yourself and it will tell you how much to put aside each month/paycheck to reach that goal.

Not getting the base model. Will prob get: AWD, Panoramic glass and tech/sound package. Maybe an upgraded battery size but ill see what my budget is like when the time comes

I would hope Tesla would put more focus on QC that it has in the past. Esp from the pictures posted above. Regardless of the price point it will be to their disadvantage to manufacture cars that aren't near flawless as it affects their brand as a whole, not just that model.

I think delivery of the cars will be the greatest deciding factor. If Tesla takes 2+ years to deliver then some that need this car for their commute to work might not be able to wait. Especially if their current cars start giving them issues. I also think a fair number will cancel if they don't...

Where did you reserve your Model 3?

I was number 2 at the Tesla showroom in Short Hills mall and I got my confirmation email as well as reservation number about a half hour later. I made sure I called my CC company ahead of time and told them to expect a charge for 1k from Tesla. Had no problems after that

I was second and completed my order at exactly 10:03 am. So about 30 mins.
