Thanks for posting all that. Those other documents didn't pop up in my search for "Tesla" and I didn't think to look past the original two docs I posted. I think they have to put that in the letter to make it appeal more to the community...:cool:

According to my source at Tesla, the permits have been filed for a Supercharger in Memphis. Anyone care to dig a little bit?

I mean, more than likely it would be destination chargers. I can't see the mall management giving up 6-12 spaces for a supercharger.

You've got them pretty much covered, @Cnasty. Those are the same channels I obsessively watched until I got my car (and decided to create my own channel). Also, be sure to check out blogs like Electrek and Tesalrati too.

I was under the impression, if anything, they'll put some kind of charging solution at Green Hills mall since TM has been planning a pop-up store or even a permanent store there for a while now.

I wonder if there is some way to get this data (and format) into a mobile app... Might be worth looking into...o_O

I was only playing off his analogy involving garbage... I think the UHFS sounds a bit muddled compared to the standard audio. It took me longer than it should have to get it sounding how I like it compared to the standard. Also, as stated before, don't use the Dolby Surround feature. Ugh...

As you put it, it is basically a "garbage in, garbage out" type system. Think of it like this...The "standard" audio system is like a trash bag. The UHFS is like a trash bag with Febreeze. The trash is only as stinky as what you put in it. The UHFS just makes it smell more pretty. Savvy...

EVMote is more of a remote control for the car (think phone app on the web). TeslaFi is more of a log of your trips. I know EVMote does the same thing, but I like the layout and feel of TeslaFi for tracking my driving instead.

I'm down in Atlanta at least once a month or so...I usually see at least one other one on the road. Last time I was down there, there were about 6 at the SC at Atlantic Station. If you all ever see a white S85 with TN plates, it's probably me. Give me a wave or come say hi!

It's all about getting the settings on your radio tuned in for your preferences. I have the non-UHF system in my car and it's just as good as the Bose systems I had in my Acura TLs.

The Tesla app works just fine in iOS 10, as do the other Tesla apps.

Sounds like it might be a display issue. I'd call Tech Support and see if they can verify. If anything, call your local SC and take it in to have them look at it.

Varies by state. TN does not require you to have one, and when you go to get your plates, they only give you one. We have a decent SuC situation here in TN. There's one in Nashville (Brentwood, really...about 20m south), Chattanooga, and Knoxville. Soon, there will be one in Memphis and/or...

One other quick thing...Always make sure the hotels you are staying at know you are parking your car there and give you a parking pass. The Aloft in Atlanta didn't, and my car was almost booted/towed. o_O You can see the one from the Westin in my window in the picture above. :cool:

Ok. I stand corrected. Checking my logs on TeslaLog.com, I did get 30A in Bluffton, SC at the ChargePoint chargers and the Blink charger at my local Kohls here in Nashville gave me 24A. I have no idea where I got the 40A from. o_O But yeah, both Blink and ChargePoint require their respective...

The J1772 chargers will give you about 40A, which equates to about 22-24 mi/h. I've used Blink and ChargePoint chargers and they work brilliantly. Just remember to plug in the adapter before connecting the charging cable, and remember to take it out of the port, or off the cable when you...

I have both installed on my phone. I like the cleaner interface of Energi, but I like the detail that Remote S gives you (ex. I love being able to see how much energy, total, it has taken to charge my car). I think the interface to Remote S is too cluttered to use as a daily app but, again...

Energi is pretty good as well. It is in active development and it's creator is very active and very open/receptive to feedback on the app. It's got a clean interface and has an Apple Watch app and complication.

Carvana gave me a pretty decent price for my Jeep (+$3,500 more than Tesla, Carmax, and even the dealer I bought the car from). Cut me a check on the spot.
