Thank you for confirming my concerns. I didn't mess too much with the trim for the side airbag because of how it was attached to the airbag itself. I think I'll wait until there are more detailed instructions online.

Just asked for a quote on installation. Version 3 of the power lift gate is supposedly a more difficult install. Price for installation is higher on the new version. I hope someone can post a guide on how to remove the rear trims.
