I have been trying to figure out if the side repeater cameras on the 2021 S will fit the older cars. The camera looks bigger but it could just stick out further. My questions is does it have the same connectors and will it fit in the same hole in the fender?

I am curious if the 2021 side cameras for Model S can be retrofitted? They look like the stick out further but do they fit in the same space as the older part numbers and have the same connectors?

Would this retrofit work on an MCU2 car? Would Boombox work then as well?

I would do the retrofit and hopefully pick up heated steering wheel feature at the same time. Getting rid of the stalks would be awesome too but where would the shift selector buttons be located?

I tried ordering the graphite parts for my car and went all the way up to asking Franz directly and was told no. Some of those graphite parts are fused to another part and can’t be separated. Those are indeed for pressure sensors for rear seat seat belt notification. I have heard they became standard in American Model S in October of 2016.Below is what the pressure sensor itself that attaches to the seat bottom looks like.

Thanks, that is exactly what I was looking for. I figured out the mounting as well. Tesla uses double sided tape to attach to the seat bottom there is a little space in the bottom of the cushions that is sensor shaped and has a chanel for the wire.

Do you have the part number for the patch harness and how do the sensors attach to the seat? Do you have any pictures I can reference?

Where did you find them and was this for a retrofit? How did it work? How do they install? I have four unused plugs under my backseat. I assume one is for the seat heaters and the other is for these sensors.

What was the problem? Mine has been working for weeks and just stopped working today. I am trying to figure out how to troubleshoot it.

The Karstyle nose upgrade does leave the AP Radar at the bottom of the car. The downside to that is I have had large bugs disable my Autopilot. I think it is safer behind the T but Tesla would have to do that because the AP software would have to be modified.

DJ only appears in certain slacker channels. If it is a pre built slacker channels you should see DJ otherwise if it is one you created dj doesn't appear.
