I'm just hoping it will be projected directly on the windscreen, and not some kind of plastic in front of it. Maybe some customization about what info to display. But speedometer, charge (range) , GPS , music, depending on the size of the HUD, will it be full screen or relatively small? if it's...

I think this is standard in most recent cars, would really surprise me if it's not there.

I'm for it, but ONLY if you can turn it off. I drive a pretty silent ICE car now, and pedestrians don't hear me either so I'm use to it, and wouldn't want a audible warning every time i was out grocery shopping.

This is an idea i heard elsewhere, and that is what i think would work. How about the car gets programmed for use with SC. You park it there, start the charge - when it's charged to the set charge it will automatically disconnect and park itself on a specified "done charging" parking spot...
