I updated to 48.12.1 this morning and lost audio, home link and driver profiles and settings. Audio back after two button reset. MY16 MS75D.

I believe it has more to do with the rolling diameter than the weight. More power to push the wheels to rotate, which is what causes the reduction in efficiency. There is certainly a decline in efficiency. Having it uncorked also made it worse since I now push my car more with the extra power...

Swapped to Aracnids about 6 months ago. The ride is harsher and there is a dip in efficiency of about 5%, but to me, the added performance (grip) and looks are amazing and I would not go back. I also live in GA (Brookhaven) so it is my wheel for the year. I see you are in Newnan. I am happy...

I am experiencing the same problem and have been for about a week. It’s making Slacker nearly unusable. More reliable to stream from my phone via BT. That’s unacceptable.

Yup, your are right. I finally asked point blank if I will be eligible if I upgraded to 75D and they finally replied that I would be immediately upon upgrading. Uncorked yesterday! :cool:

Has my car in today for one year service (9/16 build) and the note from the shop foreman was that I would not be eligible for the uncorking even if I upgrade to 75D because my car is “too old”. I know that’s not true based on the spreadsheet. So no help today.

Going through the same issue. Since the latest update, my Homelink is hit or miss upon return home. Never had a problem until this past week.

Anyone with a 60D upgrade to the 75D and then get told they are eligible? I have my annual service tomorrow and would love to get mine uncorked. If it’s a matter of getting the 75 upgrade, then it would be great.

I have a 9/16 delivery S60D, VIN 160XXX. I am due for my one year now, so I plan to ask my SC tomorrow. If I have to upgrade to a 75D to get uncorked, then I will definitely do it. Well worth $2k for that type of performance upgrade. Took me far more to improve my previous ICE cars.

That's my hope! I have no doubt that the 0-60 can be increased via firmware. If that doesn't work, packs can also be upgraded...its the cost that is more difficult to pin down. IMO, Tesla should just create a tuning option. Let its customers pay to unlock more power and upgrade batteries.

I'm not sure about the bay, but I regularly charge at the dealership. They also have no problem with chargers coming in to grab coffee, use the wifi and restrooms. Pretty common I'd think.

It was like the previous APv1, each car is built with full functionality hardware, but you pay to software unlock, level 1 and now level 2. More expensive to software unlock after delivery.

I just took delivery end of Q3 on a custom build. Didn't get any discounts, so I wished I would have waited. I guess this is the Tesla way. I will just have to remind myself that I prefer to drive, not be driven...I guess. :(

Congrats! I had a similarly equipped red MS, but the discount was not nearly as good. Had 267 miles and was $8,300 off. I would have jumped all over this one and I am glad you did! :)
