I was just looking at the supercharger map on tesla.com where it talks about another potential site. The gray pin is near Wads and I-70. It says coming 2020 right now. Of course it could be the case that Tesla removes that from their map. Not sure why they haven't if they just built a site...

To add to the post above, the chat option doesn't show up until after you select a topic, and put some text in the free text field. At least in my experience so far, recently.

Open the Javascript console. It has a Queue Position field, which tells you where you are in line when you made the initial chat request. It doesn't update though.

I would think you'd just reserve the car you would intend to buy not horde them due to an unknown or excuse. But to each his own. Nothing illegal. What's the end result? Some people who wanted one of those cars at a price point missed out. That's my point.

no ... supercharging has no effect. Supercharging is for the high-voltage main battery pack. The 12v system that powers your dascam is from a 12v battery. It's a separate system. The only interaction between the main battery and the 12v battery is via a DC-DC converter that recharges the 12v...

They are. Look at the 4th pict again you'll see the foam inside the tire. That's why I took that close up. Never seen foam in a tire before. Pretty neat huh?

You have the right to be frustrated. It's their job to increase or maintain your satisfaction, not decrease it. Some just don't seem to take the job seriously, and I think that's not a good thing for Tesla. Their technology is awesome, but it's completely propping up their customer service...

In my case, insurance was only required on the date of delivery and taking possession, not before. My insurance on the car won't start until Friday, when I take possession. I spoke to my insurance company on this matter, and this all seemed completely expected and normal.
