    This isn't any different than other manufacturers. if they had of instead had a base and GT version(long range pack with higher performance as a helpful side effect) they would have been similar to the Ford Mustang line up same arguments. it's priced ~$10k more than the ecoboost base engine...

    thanks for the response, just seems silly, escp since i think in the entire new car market place i don't think you would need more than one hand to count all the models where you could get actually get a base model without A/C.
