I've been using Stats for almost a year and no phantom drain issue with the app. Once in a long while, I will experience some worse than normal drains. But I'm pretty sure it's something else and not the app. Otherwise, the bad drains would be ongoing.

Now that we are well into the winter. Heat has been blowing in the car everyday. The burning smell has been cleared and is long gone.

Same here. For me, I believe it's heating related. It only happens during the first couple minutes when the heater is just turned on. I never smelled any odor outside of the car in my garage.

With Model 3, I don't have a key fob. I use my phone as the key. I certainly hope that my phone in the house is not keeping my car in the garage awake. The only thing I can think of is both my phone and car are on the same Wi-Fi network at home. But even that shouldn't be the cause either.
