Rumor Mongering here - something I noticed this weekend. There's now a whole section by Meijer on Lima Road in Fort Wayne which has been fenced off and has about eight trailers sitting in it. Would be a perfect place for a SC.

Yeah, but I drive like my grandmother. The only time I would think of unleashing that would be to make the kids giggle.

8 miles of range. Better wet traction. Is there something else I am missing?

Let me clarify, I still want the damn car. The big concern for me is handling in the winter and if it's good enough not to upgrade to the D model to save $5k. It might not seem like much, but I don't know if that $5k is going to be worth it AND if it would hold increased value over the long haul.

Out of the way (adds about 30-40 min to the drive). Why they never built a divided highway between Elkhart and Fort Wayne....

Problem is US 30. That's the primary route to Chicago. Only the Country Club Hills SC available. Same with Green Bay. And it's out of the way for O'Hare/Midway. That's a different/non critical issue. Would like to see more destination chargers especially in Fort Wayne.

Saw that too...just not thrilled with having "winter tires" again for the car but if it's that much of an improvement, I'll make the jump.

Twice. And I'm pretty much settled on a 60. Just wondering if the extra $5k for the D is worth it or not. I have a CR-V right now and while I don't expect this to handle the snow like the CR-V, I have to be able to drive it to Chicago/Indy/etc on a regular basis for work. Besides the fact...

I figured on wet roads it would be just fine. My concern is if this is a four season car (which all the testing/marketing says it is) but I wanted to get a bit more feedback from regular owners to see what hiccups they have had. The thing that has really sold me on Tesla to me is seeing these...

For those that live in Northern Indiana...wanted to ask about your experience with winter driving and if getting a D model significantly improved traction/etc along with what your experience has been with winter driving in the Model S. Yes, I have read about all the testing done in Norway. I'm...
