Does anyone repair Mobile Chargers? I have a Gen 1, that is intermittent. Green lights are on but won't charge sometimes. I don't see any issues with the cord. Only have one 40A charger left and would like to not have to buy a Wall Charger.

I would change it out. These have a lot of overheating issues and it doesn't matter if you leave it plugged in. The connections on the back are the biggest issue.

How long did it take them from the time you gave Tesla the go ahead? Tesla told me they were waiting for SRP approval. Called them a couple days ago and they said no application for me. Emailed Tesla and now said they made an error and are on track now. So far not very impressed.

Does Tesla do the powerwall installs or is it a local contractor? If so, does anyone have a recommendation for Mesa/East Valley? Looks like after over a year Tesla finally found my Founders Series Powerwalls (2). Planning on adding one for the SRP rebate. Now need to see what the install with cost.

Many years ago but Chevy replaced many Vega engines and they were all remans. We had stacks of them it was so common.

Yes this has been a learning process. I thought just put it on and leave it. SRP will get you if you don't tweak it. We had 14 panels and added 31 more for a total of 45. Interesting is the 3.2 system was 30K in 2013. Last year we spent 30K for 10.8.

I just changed my plan from E-29 to E-26. I was over producing off-peak and still having to pay all of the super off-peak energy. E-26 is back to peak/off-peak and my bill is down considerably. You might think about doing this also.

I didn't want to chance it. Emailed MVD and they said no plate, no HOV lane. Even if you are in an EV.

Solar power and buying a Tesla are something you do more for the fun and using less fossil fuel. If you look at the cost of ownership, they are still at best a break even. Same with buying a 20 SEER HVAC. Break even point is way into the future at best.

Where did you get your info on HVAC's losing efficiency? I would think this would also apply to a 14 SEER unit. I agree that it starts to make little sense cost wise to go with the highest SEER unit, but solar and Tesla's are in the same category.

The way I read it, you are not grandfathered. I was not aware of the change from 2020 to 2022, so just sold my S to my wife and got a new 5 year plate. Will sell her the 3 in 2021.

Only your insurance company can determine it, but looks worse than mine that was totaled.

It seems most people here have a pretty strong case against Tesla. If you don't mind spending a lot of hours in preparation, a small claims action would probably be successful.

As others have pointed out, this outlet struggles to cope with the high amperage required. Lot's of failures reported. I would not install a Leviton. Go with Cooper/Hubble for peace of mind.

Tempe does a poor job in processing plates. Twice, I have called to complain. The first time the made excuses and only after contacting a manager did they get it done within 48 hours. The second time I drove to Scottsdale and told them of my unhappiness with Tempe. They did it while I waited.

If car is "pretty much sold", why would you install a charger? Also, if you sell the car, that pretty much eliminates any legal recourse for damages. According to you, the sale will result in a profit. Looks like this case is closed.

Still dealing with insurance from our accident in Mesa with our brand new 3. It was totaled and they paid for a new one, but still dealing with liability. I think it's very possible yours might be totaled. Especially if you mention you will want DV.

I would say he has complied with all the requirements to get the credit. He bought the car with the intent on keeping it. There is no provision to void the credit if the car is bought back or totaled.
