We and Otter plugged in tonight. Charging rate seemed a bit slower to me than other stations but it's up and running.

Hooray! Tesla tech arrived a little after noon and we caught him there. He said his work would be done by end of the day and then it would be 8 hours or so for the supercharger to show up officially on the map.

No change today by late morning--no activity and orange cones blocking area off.

Since her husband is a coworker, my husband has already planned to offer her a test drive in the MS. It was great her husband corrected her and told her she was wrong about EVs. Sometimes you don't know if the message gets through--glad to hear when it does.

Drove by today and the parking signs are up. First 4 stalls from the entry are shared 30 minute or charging parking. Last 4 are Tesla charging only parking. We'll see how this works on a busy mall day. Stations no longer covered in plastic but row of orange cones is still in place.

Some of the concrete was already completed this afternoon. Hard working crew fueled by donuts and coffee from Otter. They said on Sunday it was nice to have the space to work in that they did at Seaside but doesn't look like this layout is slowing them down any.

Went by a bit ago and as Otter observed, saw the trench is some distance away from the back curb which I also hope means head-in. They were busy in the trench, so could not ask. Surprised to see activity on Saturday.

Talked to workers on the site this morning and their estimate was done 4 to 6 weeks from today.

This supercharger is going to be used heavily. The AV CHAdeMO is often used by Teslas in LC so the supercharger will free that up again for LEAFs and Souls. Very exciting development. Will try to get a few more pictures of progress as we go along but Seaside seemed to move along rapidly...

Today there is an area back there fenced off with orange fencing and cones with a backhoe or something inside. Looks like things are gearing up. Will keep snooping as well since we're local.
