    Tesla, Linux and the GPL

Digging up an old thread to note: the constant haranguing to Tesla about their GPL violations seems to have finally met the ear of someone with some weight. Who said constant nagging didn't get anything done? Tesla has open-sourced their tegra 4.4 branch of the linux kernel for the CID and IC...

Motley Fool story - Tesla Replacement Part Delays

Ditto on Insurance problems due to high cost-of-repair; I had to cancel my 100D order because my Geico quote went from ~$1200/yr to $2800/yr once I gave them the correct model and VIN. And the $2800 quote was with a $2500 deductible on collision/comprehensive ($500 deductible would've been over...

    Tyres

There's no place to put a spare tire in the frunk at all after the refresh. Refreshed S 60's without the premium package have the same frunk cutout as the S 60D's with premium.

Would you be interested in an AP 2.0 retrofit?

Note that one of our own, wizkid057, performed his own autopilot retrofit. He says the price was slightly under $9,000 USD, not counting his own labor time. So $9,000-$10,000 would probably be the absolute bare minimum to retrofit a 2013 Model S with autopilot hardware...

HELP, stuck at a supercharger with 5 people and it's not charging!

"Hello, Tesla. Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
