@Solarman004, I was told by the lead electrical contractor some time ago that Chaffee County electrical inspectors did not want to sign off on the electrical until Tesla had completed their checkout. Hopefully soon.

I did not notice if the stalls were labeled, I don’t think they were. The cables were definitely not zip tied. What does that tell us about the status of the facility?

We visited the site today and the power is now supplied to the transformer. It is humming and was warm to the touch. The meter is installed and working, showing the correct time but reading 000000 which implies the system has not yet been activated. I suspect that it is ready for Tesla to do...

We drove by the site late yesterday afternoon ( Thursday Dec 27) on our way home from a weeks vacation and I’m sorry to report that there has been no progress. Hopefully, Ecel will start their effort soon after the first of the year. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I spoke with the site construction foreman today just as he was leaving to head back home to Missouri for the holidays. He said that his work is complete except for the installation of two lights. The lights came in last week but were damaged and they had to order new ones. They are expected...

Pictures from today. The eight chargers are in place. The poles in front of the chargers are for the signs. The contractor I spoke with stated that the site should “look a lot different” next week as they plan to have the parking pad completed and the signs up.

We just returned from the site and they are making good progress. Some pedestals are up and equipment cabinets are in place within the enclosure. The outer covers for the charging stations are stored inside of a large storage container on site.

I didn’t mean to be negative or pessimistic with my post. They really are making good progress. I know ancreserve stated in a previous post that he was hoping to use it Thanksgiving.

We visited the site today around noon. They are making progress but not as fast as some would hope for. The weather continues to be good but with Thanksgiving near, they likely will not make a lot of progress in the next week.

I found the Chaffee County building permit status online. It was submitted 10/3/2017. It lists the address as 6250 Hwy 285 which is the Sinclair station on US 285 in Poncha Springs
