    Foutmeldingen Model S 2018

    New tpms system question

This is what EPC is saying: TSB is referring to 1034601-00-B with coding it to 'Conti 2' so I think it's safe to say to use B C or D with Conti 2.

    Air Suspension error - EAS_w007

Something else to keep in mind. Before we raised the car to pull the subframe for LDU fix we put the car in jack mode and then disabled 12V and HV. After LDU was fixed we wanted to start coolant air purge while car was still in the air so we reconnected power again. Then after a minute even...

    12V Battery & DC/DC Converter issues

If you already checked power/ground connections from DC/DC and car is not throwing HV errors Maybe DC/DC is getting bad? Normally I would not start firing the parts cannon but maybe you can get a used DCDC for cheap and try swapping it?

    Can't charge 2015 Model S

Looks like your Fast Charge contactors are welded, believe those are located in the rear hv junction box. Charger is controlling those contactors so check if they are welded or not, if not then it could be something wrong with the charger. Make sure to follow vehicle HV disablement procedure

Error messages abound, parking brake stuck, and a 5000 lawn ornament. HELP!

Last week I had an issue with parking calipers and getting car in neutral or park was no issue even with connector removed from parking brake actuator. Car drove fine for 1 week with left rear connector unplugged. If you disconnect EPB module don't think the issue lies in the calipers maybe...

    Air valve question

Sorry, I now see what you mean by looking better at the pictures. Think you need just a new connector then. It would not be an issue if the new strut came with the connector
  19. Gtech

    Air valve question

Since your car has TAS you have no valves on the struts. Normally the struts come with a new fitting already installed on the strut since it's a quick connect and one time use. Normally the struts rear left and right are identical same goes for the connectors and air hose diameter

Clunking sound is costing me a bundle to fix out of warranty

Yes, well the sound that you are posting was same as mine, it did go away after greasing the contact area. Put car on Jack but keep wheel touching the ground. Remove central wheel cap. Remove central hub bolt. Push half shaft in like 1cm Set the car as high as possible and put extra jack stand...

PLEASE HELP MODEL S WONT START

Like @brainhouston already mentioned a few times the car throws a external isolation fault so at this point any HV component or wire could be faulty except what is behind the contactors in HV batt. Your car need further diagnose about what is causing this ext iso fault. So I think you need an...

Door handle not presenting on touch

Big change pressure sensor is dead, sensor isn't sold as a spare part also in the old days so the official way is to upgrade to gen2.1 retrofit handle. Sometimes they can be repaired but for that you need to open the handle and inspect it for a broken wire or try finding a used door handle one...

    DIY Tesla Drive Unit Repair

Yes single lip Yeah we greased them but think it's wise to pull the B+ B- cover again after like 6 months or so to check for moisture or replace the O rings anyway. After I think about it one cable had almost no resistance when pulling it out of the LDU, the one with less corrosion was a...

    DIY Tesla Drive Unit Repair

Yeah it was definitely some of the greasy transparent jelly that made its way out, maybe they use it as a non conductive grease to make the housing slide easily over the big O ring and also against moisture intrusion but that's just guessing

    DIY Tesla Drive Unit Repair

So, wanted to post some extra data points since we also placed a rotor cap delete plug last night. T19 is 2019 right? This car is high mileage btw. So before we did the operation we wanted to check for signs of coolant. Sensor: grease but no coolant Greasy inverter case, not a really...

    DIY Tesla Drive Unit Repair

    ABS, ESP ESP_w001, ESP_w002, ESP_w003 error code

Good question, the ESP module can already see that even the stationary signal isn't what it needs to be, so for example if it expects a square wave from 0.45V and 1V but if it's measuring short to ground or 0.1V etc it will throw an error even without driving. Gap can be off if wheel bearing is...

ESP_d020_wssFRAirGap This alert indicates there was a WSS fault on the right front wheel speed sensor, which may be due to an incorrect alignment or adjustment. ABS, ESP ESP_w001, ESP_w002, ESP_w003 error code

Did you checked service mode for silent errors? Please share those in English I don't think measuring ohms can tell if an active abs sensor is broken. It sends out a low voltage Square block signal unlike a passive abs sensor. Not sure if a multimeter is fast enough to measure, best to use a...

Ongeacht of je wel of niet de keuze maakt om hem bij Tesla te laten vervangen hou ook rekening met de garantie die je krijgt op de reparatie. 2013 P85 - Air suspension solenoid replacement?

2012-2016 is a valveblock with 6 connections and a 2016+ is one with 7 connections. Seems that Arnott sells them both For Model S with EAS 2013-2016.4 there are no different variations of this component, it's just a solenoid valve block with some actuators and a build in pressure sensor...
