The only reason I could think that it was fixed for me with 2020.44 and not others is a configuration difference and they didn’t fix it in all variations.
First long trip in our X was to San Diego about a week after taking delivery in January 2017, and I knew we would be running around quite a bit and looked up "San Diego Supercharger" on the navigation and found it was about 5 miles from where we were going to be, so no problem. Wrong! That...
I know this is trivial compared to almost any other issue, but when charging I would always play Backgammon. Earlier this year I had my HW3 and MCU2 upgrade completed and other issues aside that were fixed, my Backgammon doesn't work. When I select the game and press the button to play, the...
An update: After spending another week at the SC i got it back today and it appears a full reflashing of the MCU2 fixed the wifi issue. Backgammon still causes the MCU2 to reboot.
Edit: So the car still wont connect to my 5GHz wifi even though all my other devices (iphone, echo, cameras...
All my SSIDs are visible. My garage has an AP with both 2 & 5GHz radios on.
Additionally, I often play Backgammon while charging and on my MCU2 it causes it to crash and reboot the MCU2. My car has been at the SC for 6 days already and they have tesla "engineering" trying to fix it before...
Just had my 12/2016 Model S upgraded to MCU2 and FSD. Has anyone had an issue with the 5GHz wifi not working? Searching didn't provide any results. 2.4GHz works just fine. The car is going back to the SC next week if I can't find a solution. I tried all resets to no avail.
I just bought this and now I get 5Ghz signal throughout the house and 5 houses away!

The last picture is not the wear from the falcon wing door contact point. That is user damage. The contact point is roughly at the top of the wheel well on the body when the door is open. it's typically a small rubbed area about the size of a dime. When they adjusted my door stops and did...
With the latest 20.2.1 update an area that was previously reporting as 30mph is now corrected to 50mph and I can use AP! Finally after two years. Maybe there was a database update and/or my constant reporting has paid off.
Same issue here. More predominant on our 12/2016 MX (38K miles) but still get the shakes in our 12/2017 MS (16K miles). Both vehicles adjust to very high to avoid bottoming out on our driveway and lower back to standard before the right turn into traffic, typically at full acceleration (or...
I had this last year when my X was new a few times. The last time it happened, fortunately I was within a few miles of the SC and drove there to show them. Steering column control stalks were replaced.
