    Acceleration Shudder

Have a Tesla X with 35+K miles. Shudder just repaired with new "beefed up" motor mount and two new half shafts in front. Works fine now.

New to the Tesla Family! What is/was your first Tesla road trip?!

1st Trip in our 2016 S 90D: Southwest Tour right after Easter. (Crater Lake, Yosemite, California coast, Disneyland(s), Sea World!, Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Baker City (western migration memorial center!) ... nights at Bend, Mt. Shasta, Groveland, Monterey, Corona, San Diego, Flagstaff...

    Acceleration Shudder

So glad this forum is explaining what I, too, have discovered with my S90d. Got it October 2016 and it currently has just short of 12000 miles. Started noticing it last winter and thought maybe wheels were slipping as they put sand on streets and I had put on snow tires. Just finished a 3,000+...

POLL: Have you had to have your 12V battery replaced?

Should add that we had this problem at just over 9,000 miles and 7 months of ownership!!

POLL: Have you had to have your 12V battery replaced?

On a road trip to Southern California, battery replace light came on. Screen got very slow to rebuild making navigation more difficult. Dealer in San Diego said they were too busy to replace it "right away" but we could have it done by that evening. We drove to Scottsdale and they were very...

    90D vs P90D acceleration curves

Oops...Now I'm getting forums mixed up. Monroe refers to new Supercharger station coming on line soon! That's news for us in eastern Washington heading west to Seattle area where there are currently NO Superchargers!! Monroe Washington will be a great plus for us as it's on Highway 2 and only...

    90D vs P90D acceleration curves

Thanks! Yes, the actual "range" just has to be experienced over time/conditions. Now I'm wondering if the newer and slightly larger iteration of the Tesla/Panasonic battery cells will be extending range...maybe recharge and discharge rate capabilities, too?? But this is probably for a...

    70D vs. 90D Speed Regrets?

Good reflections with honest appraisal to boot! See you at a Supercharger!

    90D vs P90D acceleration curves

Enjoyed your post. I certainly concur on range drop during winter. Using snow tires with heater on, seats on and (premium) sound going my range drops considerably. Going over mountain pass eats miles at about a 2/1 ratio going up but range stays nearly unchanged (gaining very few at best)...

    70D vs. 90D Speed Regrets?

Ha! You've got a point there. I was in the passenger seat the other day while I let someone else drive the car (not my wife). I remember spontaneously saying "holy s..." when he punched it at about 30mph. Passenger seat "feels" different for sure!! (I prefer driving!!)

    Supercharger - Monroe, WA

Unfortunately I am only reflecting comments from others. I'll see if I can visit with management here in east Wenatchee at Fred Meyers to see if they know anything. Am pleased with Superchargers "expansion" for sure!

    Supercharger - Monroe, WA

Very happy about Monroe location as I live in east Wenatchee and make frequent trips to Seattle. This will make that trek just great!!! Looking forward to charging at Fred Meyers here in east Wenatchee when that becomes available, too! Go Tesla Superchargers!!!

Tesla Model S 90D first week (Dec. 18-25, 2016) impressions (a long post)

Thanks for your comments! I also have an 2016 90D (w/new front) and now have 4,700 miles. I My wife and I have missed extra storage options for things like trash and incidental items. I installed (they screw into the back seats) black stretch netting. The molded pieces fit the back seats...

    90D vs P90D acceleration curves

I have now put somewhat about 5,571 miles on my 90D. Here's my take. First, I've found that it literally explodes with acceleration from 30 to 70. It frankly doesn't explode off the line if there's any wheel slippage (sand or snow on road) but will jump surprisingly quickly if it's warm and...

    70D vs. 90D Speed Regrets?

Thanks! Great! I am happy to be part of an expanding phenomenon that may really take off like a Space X rocket in the next coming years. Sorry I didn't take even more time to reflect on one-pedal driving, hydraulic suspension, great flat cornering, awesome brakes (if needed!), fabulous...

    70D vs. 90D Speed Regrets?

No sure what you mean by "linear." Curious, though! Glad you love your P version!

    70D vs. 90D Speed Regrets?

As a newbie to the Tesla S club, please forgive me for getting a little TMI on this my first "post." But I just have to jump in! Having recently purchased (Oct. 2016) a new 90D with basically all options except rear seats and winter heating and, having now put on 4,400+ miles in fall/winter...
