Valentine One hard mount/hardwired by Calibred

Following up here as I went ahead and ordered the Blendmount BV1 and Mirrortap MTX during their Cyber Monday sale. The install with my V1 was pretty easy using the connector for the auto-dimming rearview mirror as a power source. It sure is good to have my V1 with me again! A few notes on the...

Wow! Those look great, @rbilramz! Nice job!

Great dash/Sentry viewer program for Windows

Nice program - I'll definitely be using this. Now if only Tesla would incorporate GPS metadata so that you could see *where* events happened!

    Hardwire radar installation model x

I’ve been looking to mount my V1 in my MX and this looks like exactly what I’m after. This was a DIY job, correct? Any difficulties or tips?

Also interested... My V1 has been sitting on my desk since I got my MX and I'd like to get it back up and going.

    Model X Vent Feature

This scenario happened to me a couple of weeks ago (before V10) during a heavy thunderstorm... I had the windows manually vented about 3" each and when it started to rain, I ran out to put them back up using the auto-up feature on the driver's switch panel. I pressed all four switches in a quick...

Did V10 possible change sensitivy to Window Obstacle?

I also had this problem prior to V10 with my rear passenger (FWD) window. Mobile Service fixed it earlier this week by replacing the window regulator and recalibrating.

Possible wind noise around drivers side mirror Model X Raven

I noticed whistling from the driver side mirror area while driving two days ago - good to see this thread. I checked mine this evening and found the same thing reported above: 1+ feet of gasket not attached to anything. In fact, I couldn't even tell if it had adhesive on it originally or not...

August Raven delivery here and nope, no slacker account provided to me by Tesla.

Vendor Tesla Model X tire service jack pad adapter

Thanks for clarifying! Now off to get a second floor jack and will order two pads. thanks! :)

Vendor Tesla Model X tire service jack pad adapter

I've done some searching and I'm not sure I've found a clear answer for using this in combination with jack stands to have more than one wheel off the ground at the same time... So, just to clarify, I'd like to use the Murphy's Law jack pad adapters with my floor jack - they're built for that...

Professional photos Multi Coat Red Model X.....

Holy cow that looks great! Still waiting to get a weekend where I can do the paint correction on mine... until then it sits in the garage most days. :( Did you do PPF all over and what brand did you go with?

This is pretty awesome! - wish this had happened a month ago and I would have saved my money! :( lol

Falcon Wing Door Glass Seal deteriorating

I had a loaner 2016 MX P90D Signature from the Denver (Evans Ave) SC earlier this week and noticed the same thing. It looked horrible and the car only had 21k miles on it. Hopefully, my Raven holds up better but the recommendation on the Gummi Pfledge seems like a good preventative measure.

Vendor Telsa Model X Caliper Paint Art Display

Dang, nice look and a great price -- wish I was in SoCal... Does a shop have to remove the calipers to do this?

Denver (Evans) SC Experiences - Waiting/Loaners?

Thanks for the info, all! I ended up dropping off my car yesterday and they had a 2016 Signature edition MX P90D that I've been using - definitely a fun loaner but, man, I sure hope the long-term build quality on my Raven MX is better than that loaner... It's got 21k miles and makes all sorts of...

Fitting a Peloton Exercise Bike in Model X 6 seater?

No first-hand experience moving one, but since I happened to be sitting next to ours... I checked and the gen 3 Peloton bike is about 36" tall (to the base of the console, which I would remove to transport it), by 24" wide at the base, by 48"ish long. Removing the seat and console can probably...

Potentially stupid question. Ludicrous mode and concussions/headaches

IIRC in another thread, someone had a screenshot where their performance meter showed 1.8 lateral G's... I'm not a doctor, but I could see that being enough to potentially induce problems for someone who is sensitive to those types of neurological issues, especially if they weren't prepared for...

Denver (Evans) SC Experiences - Waiting/Loaners?

I have my first SC appointment at the E Evans Ave location next week for a door alignment issue, a bad sensor in the second-row seats, and a few other minor things. No idea how long all of this will take them but do they have loaner cars available or a waiting room at least? I would prefer to...

Xpel Stealth wrap, powder coated 20's and tint!

Awesome look! I didn't know about the stealth wrap - how much of a premium does that carry over normal XPel clear wrap? Looks like the installer did an awesome job - wish they weren't on the other side of the metro or I'd definitely check them out!

    Raven Model X 1/4 mile and 0-60?

Also interested in the actual numbers for the Raven LR... I installed the 2019.32 update yesterday and then took it out to enjoy some "heavy acceleration" last night... Can't say I noticed an appreciable difference in driving dynamics. Then again, I'm pretty sure my non-calibrated self wouldn't...

Auto Pilot - need to confirm

We did not get FSD in our Raven MX and I'm largely OK with that decision, but the autolane change is the one thing that I do occasionally wish I had... (not $6,000 worth of "wish" though). That said, I'm pretty happy with the adaptive cruise control and the ability to drive using AP without FSD...

    Falcon Wing Door Alignment Issue

That's good to know - I was afraid they would have to tweak the door travel but that really seems like a great way to introduce new problems... Hopefully, moving the trim also solves my issue - I have a SC appointment next week to find out!
  25. V1VrV2

    Falcon Wing Door Alignment Issue

Same issue here in our week-and-a-half old Raven. It's only an issue on the driver's side FWD and seems to be particularly bad if I'm parked with the rear of the car downhill, aka with more tilt due to the slope (as one would expect due). I've got a SC appointment for the first week of September...

Raven 6-seater, Second Row Seating Woes

Ha! Yes, it'd be rather difficult in the six-seater - at least, I'm positive I would notice that! :) As an update: I Tried the suggested full-forward, full-aft movement for the seat and the error has persisted. In fact, now it's paired with an inoperative tilt button on that same seat. SC...

Raven 6-seater, Second Row Seating Woes

When the warning is on-screen long enough, pressing the button doesn't seem to do anything. However, since it occurs when I accelerate quickly (or hit a bump) and then goes away, it's often not on-screen long enough for me to actually press the button. This morning on a somewhat bumpy...

Raven 6-seater, Second Row Seating Woes

Wow, that post title is a tongue-twister... Hey everyone - New MX owner so I'm not yet sure what's the norm and can be fixed with a reset or some Tesla owner magic, vs. what I should call the service center about... But, since taking delivery a week ago, I've had constant issues with both of...

    Trailer Hitch on Model X

Ours (took delivery last week) came with the hitch in a Tesla-branded bag, but was not installed. A ball mount is not included, just the receiver and a trailer brake wiring harness. The MX owners manual has instructions for installing it starting on page 90... Something I'll probably do this...

    Blindspot Detection Limited

Good info to know - thanks! I received this warning on day 3 of owning my Raven MX and it subsequently went away the next day (and has not yet reappeared). But, if it shows up again, I'll be reaching out to the SC. thanks!

Thanks for the explanation and pic, @jboy210!

Slowing down to 0 upon accelerator release

Ah, good to know - I experienced a slight roll backward leaving the Delivery Center parking lot and that was enough to spook me - all of those new Model 3 and S sitting around waiting for me to crash into them with my new MX, felt like I was back in my manual gearbox driving days. :)
  33. V1VrV2

Slowing down to 0 upon accelerator release

I took delivery with creep turned OFF but immediately set it to ON - my brain was wired for an ICE world, I guess, and that's what I'm used to. I believe I read that the car will roll backward if on an incline with creep set to off... Is that true?

Wow - that looks AWESOME! Great color combinations!

    6 or 7 seats

How do you all find the legroom in the rear-most seats in the 7 seat model? We have a 6-seat (w/ no console) but agonized about 6 vs 7 for a long time, pre-purchase. We test drove the 6 seat model and really liked the access to the rear-most seats so that's what we went with. However, my first...

Anyone received delivery of 2019 'Raven' Refresh?

Just picked mine up yesterday (and first post, yay) - 6-seat LR with Red Multi-Coat and the Two-Tone Slipstream wheels, cream interior. So far my impression over the first 100 miles, in a word: Awesome! This car is just so good! A few minor annoyances that I'm hoping time and this forum will...
