Just got a VIN!!! After 542 days of waiting, i finally got a VIN! 7SAXCBE55PF36XXXX. What's ironic is today, Oct 27th, I took delivery of my Model 3. 4 years ago to the day. Guess Oct 27th is my lucky day : ) Now to find a loan with a decent rate and get all my ducks in a row.

I'm hopeful I'll get this thing in November.

My EDD updated this morning to a tighter window of 10/19 - 11/5. Woohoo its getting closer!

Yep, 10th digit is an X instead of an N. N signified model year 2022, so X must mean 2023.

I'm hopefully I get mine soon. Don't think there are many of us May 21 order folks left. Since I'm Central... I should have it by November... I hope.

What was your EDD before getting VIN? Was it still showing Oct?

My EDD just tightened to 5 weeks.. Oct 19 - Nov 23. It was Oct 14 - Nov 25 for last few weeks.

These are things of nightmares folks. Pretty sure I've had 2 or 3 with the same storyline in the last month alone.

Makes me laugh at these baked responses. I remember back when my delivery date said July and their response was the exact same leading up to that EDD. Looks like your build is on track for delivery in that July timeframe.... blah blah blah Basically they have no idea. I know its getting close...

I did. I signed into my Tesla account in the browser on my Pc and it shows a big banner that says prepare for delivery.

I was thinking that too... I'm trying to recall what happened the last round of holds they placed. Did those that got placed on hold get a VIN shortly after saying I'm ready?
