I have two cars both under full warranty. The 2018 Tesla model 3 has the "Schedule Service" and "Roadside Assistance". The 2016 Tesla model S doesnt have these two picks they disappeared a few weeks ago.

First impressions. Definitely louder more at freeway speed unnoticeable at 50mph or less. Better grip for sure both for launch and cornering seems to point better and stay on track that I have chosen. Love the way they look!

Well I wore out the factory tires on my M3 in 17K miles, I could have stretched it to 20K but winter is in full swing and I had puncture that was kept leaking after repair. Replacement costs are rather high at $280/ tire for the factory Michelin. I didn't like the rather narrow tires 235/45...

Did the same road trip to Spokane last weekend and this time without the wheel covers. I averaged 260 WH/mile. Its hard to tell but I definitely think the wheel covers do alot more for range than first thought. I will do this a couple more times to get a valid test result. BTW nice...

Max it would let me do is 5-7 over which is where I set it. My avg consumption from Salem to Klamath falls was: 253 Wh/mile which isnt bad considering I also was going uphill for most of it. Of course alot of this on Hwy 58 was into the mountains twisty and fun so I was enjoying driving.

Its very quick. I would say the model 3 is about 1/3 quicker than the S. Prob due to the size but it may just be more heating element too. I had the car at 30F the other day and it was up to 70F in about 8 min. It also automatically turns on the defrost and heated seats which is new. So...

Yes there is only one. For the Gen 1 models its located in the front right fender well behind the splash gaurd. This is also the easiest way to access the 12V aux battery on these early models

If its anything like the S or X the car will keep the 12V AUX LA battery floating 100% of the time. Whether its plugged in or not. This is to alleviate the early issues with the AUX battery going dead before we think it should. This is one of the reasons they recommend leaving it plugged in...

I love my MS with active air suspension. I have changed my M3 reservation choice to reflect the AWD version. I wasn't going to wait but its worth it! Jim

Oh and now I check the AC before and after any over air software update and before and after any TM service. Just to see when it occurs. BTW it has been stable since the fix and in 102 Deg F heat. With 2 over air updates.

Well since I have no warranty I decided to try the fix for myself since I had nothing to loose. It took 1 hr to pull the DC/DC converter from the car and I was able to open it and replace the 5$ 40 Amp fuse, then resealed the unit. Works great! Not sure why TM doesn't refurbish these units...

Over 70K Miles so only the drivetrain and battery warranty are left.

To my knowledge the DC/DC converter has a HV relay and HV fuse to send the send the main battery power to the AC pump/Chiller. But Since Tesla doesnt allow anyone to see a schematic. I guess only they know. But I can tell you what if enough people get pissed and pull their Model 3 reservation...

I also have this issue on my 2013 Model S VIN# 14046 . They diagnosed it to a DC/DC converter after I gave them $140 to diagnose it . It quit sometime over a month ago, not sure since it just started getting warm here, but I know the Defrost didnt work well either. Not covered under warranty...
