I agree with you. I think the dealership model will make it impossible to be competitive in the EV business. The dealers won't make any money on service and their overhead on sales with make the vehicles uncompetitive. If the vehicles do require service, by design, that will be a death knell.

Try rebalancing the battery power management system. Run the battery down to below 20%, charge to close to 100%. Repeat total of 3X.

Hold mode is a fantastic feature. It kicks in as soon as the car stops and will prevent roll back or forward under any circumstances that I’ve experienced so far.

I have the black cam screen occasionally and the backdoor/cable problem most of the time. Power off for 3 minutes. Problem goes away for a while. I usually live with it.

Sure. There are navigation apps that you can restrict to the satellite signal. Apple has had satellite GPS I believe since the iPhone 3. Why they don't push it I have no idea.

All I can as add is that I have used a Tesla certified repair shop twice and they know the car inside out and have done as good a job as I could ask for.

I presume that other makes also have selective seat heating also just like Tesla.
