Update on AP Camera Update for Older S/X Vehicles
Congrats! I have a 2017 MX as well. I’m still waiting for Tesla to honor me with an invite to upgrade my cameras. It’s now September 2022! They can’t have that many cars to upgrade. They say it’s due to supply shortages. But they are still putting them in new cars.- fdelzingaro

That’s what I thought. Basically grayscale cameras with filtering to get the color. But not True color cameras and other things.- fdelzingaro

I heard they were b&w cameras with MCU1. MX 100D built around April 2017. I hope your right and everyone else was wrong.- fdelzingaro

I don’t see anyone on this thread bringing up the camera situation as well. I am wondering even if they upgrade MCU1 to MCU2 that they will need to address the b&w cameras too. I would think they might need color cameras to address street light, stop signs, as well as orange contruction cones.- fdelzingaro
