I ordered in October 2021. Pickup 2 days ago and it didn’t come with nema 14-50. Am I entitled to receiving one from Tesla ?

I love Tesla (has a M3 and will get my MY next week), but I also think FSD is a joke and I'm totally open to other EV brands such as Rivian. I'm just a consumer and have no brand loyalty...whoever makes the vehicle that meets my needs/budget will get my business

IMO Tesla is years away from level 4 or 5, May not be even feasible with the current hardware. If you are happy to pay $12K for existing features, go for it. Otherwise, it's just a gamble.

It's still a lot cheaper than Model X... I just made a reservation on a R1S. If they have reasonable fast charging network by the time they deliver the car (some time in 2024?), then my next car is more likely R1S than a Tesla.

Wow I just got vin’ed! Received a txt and app now asks me to submit insurance, final payment etc. Lots to think about including loan, trade-in, ceramic/film, accessories etc

EDD from 6/20-7/4, to 6/26 to 7/5. Window shrinks to 9 days. Previously replied JUNE. Still no vin

Woke up with no update. Replied with JUNE

I used to be able find many matches to "vin" in the page source code, but no actual VIN. Now the only match is the following HTML code. Did they change the page for everyone? I did get the "JUNE" txt. <input type="hidden" name="vin" />

Remains to be seen if they can indeed deliver in June. I’m a bit skeptical but remains hopeful at the same time

SoCal. After text JUNE, and asking for an update yesterday, I just received a text saying they will reach out after VIN is assigned. Looks like today's text was from a human.

This is getting ridiculous. Is Tesla not making 7-seat any more? Why did they have a delivery estimate at all at time of order if it means nothing?

Other than the $100 there is no risk with cancelling the order when the refresh (whatever it may be) is revealed, right?

Thanks. I never unplug the juicebox so it can’t be mechanical wear. Regarding the wire gauge, how can I tell? I took a pic of the wires but I can’t make sense out if it.

I am confused regarding shallow charging. Some people say shallow charging is good so you should plug it in whenever possible but some say you need deeper charge so not to confuse the system?

Not sure what tesla recommends. The one I had was Leviton. I did unplug the juicebox after I found the issue. Yes the outlet was damaged too.

Thanks guys. It seems that either the outlet or the juicebox plug (both burnt) can’t handle 40A. Even I don’t think the juicebox is UL rated. As to the outlet, it was provided by the electrician. Brand is Leviton rated at 50A. Any good brand that I should use?
