When winter comes, I'll be removing my roof rack. I'd also like to remove the paint protection film pieces if someone has successfully created some for sale. If not no biggie, I'll just keep the original Tesla ones on.
It'd just be cool to have a clean look without the ppf pads showing with...
ZERO RAGURTS. This week I had gotten road tar on my work shoes during a walk at lunch break. I ended up sitting on my foot at one point at work. When I got home I noticed the tar had gotten on my pants. I changed and later that evening realized...*sugar* it could have gotten on my seats during...
Didn’t remove the glovebox, just the panel underneath it in the footwell. The sticker is on the plastic bracket in front of the MCU closest to the firewall
Up near my MCU there is a sticker that says GA4 RENA North America. Pretty sure GA4 is the tent. I think it's pretty awesome mine was final assembled by human hands...
I don't know if it's not as safe...but it definitely takes a second for your brain to remember that you aren't in autosteer after being in it for a while.
Just speculation, but I bet any 'hands on' autopilot functionality (current HW 2.5 functionality like auto lane change and NOA) get lumped back together eventually and FSD with HW 3+ will be 'hands off' functionality once regulators approve.
Honestly I think the auto wipers on the 3 work really well. I might be the only one who thinks that...My wife on the other hand hates them. She doesn't like the screen option for toggling speed either but instead presses the button.
In my opinion they work better then the auto...
Rex Carle, a guy whose shop specializes in German autos in Downingtown, just bought a AWD Model 3. So if you want to goto someone who actually owns a Tesla and is a great mechanic, goto him. (I'm not affiliated with him in anyway...just a customer).
Minimal research here...so sometime in March Tesla decided to change the harness connector at this location to a different connector. It’s actually a connector you can use for diagnostics/can bus. The pin layout also changed from previous Model 3s. Does it mean HW3....I have no idea.
The trim piece below the rear vents touching the carpet floor. I yanked on the bottom of it to remove.
I’d honestly be surprised this is the way to check if you have 2.5 or 3. It’s just what the guy earlier said so I was curious and checked what I had. I know the computer is on the...
Interesting, my VIN 323,7xx LR RWD delivered March 2019 has the blue connector. Is this actually confirmed that a blue connector here means HW3? Seems kinda funky lol
Had a small nick of paint on the passenger door. I could have easily repaired with touch up paint and wouldn’t have been butt hurt about. When I asked for a thing of paint, the delivery guy straight up said, “oh no we’ll fix that for you” and gave me a list of their body shops to goto for a...
Don't know if it means anything but 3/14 order with white seats and there is no longer an edit link available in my order. I assume a VIN is coming soonish...
I'm waiting to hear back from Tesla on this, but going through the FAQ I found this blurb
So with this I assume all premium interiors have 1 year free access to satellite maps/live traffic/streaming/etc and the SR and SR+ will just have to pay for access with the price still TBD (maybe by July...
If I order a SR or SR+ could I just pay the $100/yr for internet to access live traffic/browser? It's not quite clear, but I assume with the full premium you don't have to pay to play or is it just completely shut off for SR and SR+.
