Supercharger - Orlando, FL - 7826 West Sand Lake Road

Can someone explain the new charge rates for this location? I arrived at 5:00 am this week and was charged $1.29 for 11 miles. Is there a website that explains the new sliding scale billing?

Supercharger - Orlando, FL - Central Florida Pkwy

This was the first Wawa store in the State of Florida (July 2012). Then Governor, and now Senator, Rick Scott was there for the Grand Opening. Big deal for all those former Philly residents who kept saying how great the food is. Seems like yesterday it opened and now there are Wawas...

Supercharger - Crossville, TN - Genesis Road

When SCs accept non-Tesla vehicles, we need all the Buc-ees and Busy Bees we can get. Large, for example 24, chargers will be needed to handle the growing number of BEVs.

Supercharger - Chattanooga, TN - Hamilton Place

Anything is better than the airport SC. If you are hungry go to the Flaming Rooster, 1900 Broad St Chattanooga, TN 37408, (423) 805-5357. Not to far from SC. The best fried chicken. Go with "sprinkles" when picking heat, unless you are daring and like hot spicy chicken. Baked beans are to...

The worst SC I have ever been to. Trick is to unplug and get out within 25 minutes to avoid $2 parking charge.

    Supercharger - Valdosta GA

Last chance to get low SC rates before hitting Florida. Just south of SC on I-95 is the Farmhouse Restaurant, 5123 Mill Store Rd. Lake Park GA 31636 Phone: 229.559.5445 which has good southern cooking at a very reasonable price.

This is my favorite SC. Right behind a Taco Bell. Taco Bell staff very welcoming. Clean bathrooms.

    Supercharger - Yemassee, SC

Love this SC. Previously had to stop at Savannah Airport and limp into Charleston. Now I top off at this SC before heading into Mount Pleasant, north of Charleston. Free Level 2 chargers in Mount Pleasant, try Town Center Shopping Center, so able to navigate around while in town. Tesla gets...

Supercharger - Orlando, FL - Millenia Plaza Way

Millenia Mall SC is open. 12 SC stalls and 4 ChargePoint hookups. Avoid on weekends. This is a heavy traffic area.

Dr. Phillips SC (12 stalls) is open! Bought my Model 3 four years ago. No nearby SC. Now I have three SCs 5 miles or less from my home in Dr. Phillips.

    Supercharger - Deerfield Beach, FL

This is a bad neighborhood Wawa's location. Two guards in the Wawa and restrooms closed to the public. The station has the differential rates, which is great if you can charge before 10:30 am. Tesla has jacked the rates from .26 to .44 cents a kilowatt. Do not charge here at night or if you...

Supercharger - Orlando, FL - Millenia Plaza Way

This location, in the Millenia Mall parking lot for Target and various fast food restaurants, is highly congested. See attached picture from my car which shows the roads full of traffic. Took me a half hour to go from BJs to I-4. I try to avoid this area.

    Politics - Quarantine Thread

Larry, No surprise. Orlando is run by Democrats who hate Tesla because it is non-union. County Mayors' wife is Democrat Congresswoman Val Demings who plans to run for Senate against Republican Senator Marco Rubio. Democrat Orlando City Mayor Buddy Dyer also threatened to run for Governor...

    Supercharger - Charleston, SC

Finally a Supercharge in Charleston. For us travelling from the South, this location is not very good. Travelling I-95 Northbound, normally get off at us 17 to get into downtown Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, etc. But something is better than nothing. No more charging on the free Level 2 chargers...

DCFC - Orlando, FL - W Robinson St

Looking forward to this location. Very close to I-4. I can see tourists using this instead of stopping at the upcoming Millenia Supercharger. Much quicker in and out. Biggest problem is to avoid area at night; lots of crime when the sun goes down! Sand Lake Road Supercharger is still an...

Supercharger - Orlando, FL - Millenia Plaza Way

This is not a good location. Very congested traffic with limited roads in and out. They would have done better to put in the Millenia Mall parking lot or Wawas located on John Young Parkway and Millenia Drive. If you are coming off I-4, it will take you 10 minutes to get to the Supercharger.

    Supercharger - Charleston, SC

Frustrating waiting on this Supercharger in Charleston. Coming from the south, you have to use the Savannah SC then look for free Level 2 chargers which means leaving overnight. Need one off 17 before you cross over into city.

New Super Charger location is strategically the best location for visitors to Orlando. Just off I-4 (exit 74A) on West Sand Lake Road at a fairly new and well maintained Wawa. Centrally located between Universal Studios, Walt Disney World and Sea World. Orlando Eye is less than a mile south...

New to Florida - Confused about I95 express lane stickers

I stand corrected, they extended it to 2019, and possibly will extend again. Barbara Kelleher with the Florida Department of Transportation explained the program. “Yes. There is a way for people who are in registered carpools, van pools and then hybrid owners.” It has to do with history...

Thank you for your inquiry on the Florida Express Lanes website. The 95 express lanes in South Florida were implemented by converting HOV lanes into express lanes. Therefore, registered carpools, hybrids, and ILEVs are exempt from the toll on the 95 express lanes in South Florida only. There...

Blog The Model 3 Needed New AP Hardware, But Not For The Reason Everyone Thinks

Well done! It is nice to read an article that applies knowledge and wisdom. No political commentary; just an analysis of the facts. Keep up the good work. Now should I get an ice cooler for my Model 3 so riders can have a bottle of water? Need to keep up my rating for future business!

    I didn't expect to pay $35,000 for a model 3

Once Model Y comes out I can add towing hitch to pull my boat; get largest battery to take long distance trips; EAP for those Interstate drives and PUP for comfort. I see this as more of a chess game than one and done!

    I didn't expect to pay $35,000 for a model 3

I am coming at this from a different angle. Giving up my Lexus SUV (17 mpg) for the Model 3. Goal is to get wife on the EV train and buy the Model Y in a few years. So I will order the base Model 3 with $1,000 paint upgrade. This will be our daily driver to work (36 miles roundtrip). Aft
