I got the limiter lines on a warm day with cruise control, battery was at 25%. I do however see the limit lines pop up during moderate acceleration when the battery is between 50 and 80 percent and then go away when I let off.

My car was in LA when I put the deposit down and got the same story about the CA taxes. They wanted the 2K to ship to TX, but would move the car to Tempe, AZ for free. So I flew to Tempe and made the 1st road trip in the car back to DFW.

I agree any improvement for the classic 85 would be great and more proof of the ongoing improvements. Also happy for those who got a nice surprise. Funny thing I have found my driving is more conservative now in the model S than when I was wheeling around in either my Leaf or Camaro!
