The version 2 Power Liftgate from COzero has the beeper in a separate box which can be connected or disconnected to taste.

I have a COzero power liftgate and my car has just had software update 2018.14.2. The boot opens and closes successfully from my phone every other time. Between each successful open and close there is a sequence where it only opens and closes a few inches !

Did you manage to cut the wire without removing large tailgate panel ? If so how did you do it ?

Hi Jayazusa, Glad you had a successful install. If you can close the liftgate with the keyfob without cutting a yellow wire, then you must have one of the latest harnesses from Cozero with the offending wire removed.

Just had a thought on how to intercept the liftgate button wire without having to remove the large panel at all. If I can trace the appropriate wire at the control box end, then the whole installation can be done in thenboot (trunk) area.
