It is getting old. I could accept that it goes into a deep sleep if it only happened overnight or after hours of being parked. But it happens during the day, while out and about, sometimes after as few as ten minutes.

I believe I too experience what the OP describes (no display, no sound, dead pedal). I haven't tried just driving as the seats/wheel etc are all still in easy entry positions. Indeed after the display comes alive I have to manually reselect a driver profile to get a reasonable driving position...

What app can a mac/iphone user on fios use to view what (how much) the model 3 has been downloading? Still on 42.4 and would like to see if 48 is in the works.

This happens to me periodically, across several software versions (currently at 42.4). Today I spent 45 minutes in one place and the car woke up instantly when I got back in. Moved less than a 1/4 mile away and went into a store for 15 minutes: blank screen and 'T' reboot when I got back in...

I find opening it merely mildly annoying. I mainly dislike closing it. It is awkward, takes two free hands, and feels flimsy and potentially damaging when I use a lot of force after it fails to latch the first time. For me it borders on worthless. Good for a rarely needed first aid kit or something.

I've had my passenger window put itself down 100%. In the rain. My wife came home and said, "hey why is [name of car]'s window down." From the looks of the inside it hadn't been down for a very long time, but it was still plenty wet. Deeply concerning. That was the second time it has done so...

Hm, I just installed the Nomad today and have been wondering about this. The Nomad site says that you can run the charger from only one USB (at lower power) but the pad won't turn on unless both are connected. It sounds like maybe after the car goes to sleep and then restarts the pad won't...

Same here. My delivery person said, "Hey, your car is silver but the app car is white. You should [call and] ask them to change it." I haven't called but did ask if it was possible under Ask A Question on my account page.

Mine did not change. My MVPA document never disappeared either (that references the VIN). I guess a caveat might be that sometimes from what I keep reading there may be some variables that affect some folks but not others. Who knows what those variables actually are? I dunno. Location, trade...

There's something programmatic about it. I got mine roughly 7 days before. When my delivery was rescheduled the VIN disappeared from the page (it was still on the MVPA). It then reappeared once I got within 7 days of the new delivery date.

Is there any actual value to refreshing the order page? I do it from habit but it sort of seems like email and phone calls happen in advance of anything *reliably* predictive happening on the web page. I'm unlikely to stop refreshing, regardless :p

That is how I imagine it too, given batching. No idea how they decide batch sequencing but within a configuration batch I imagine that the multi-variables of reservation, order, and location apply.

I'd probably get a fob If offered. Please make any fob as small, flat, and pocketable as possible with any panic modes near impossible to trigger accidentally. When pocketed I also prefer not to appear over-fond of my vehicle.

The idea of only showing accurate traffic data when a route is programmed is peevesome to say the least. I don't navigate via programmed route unless I don't know where I'm going but I always want to know traffic conditions on visible alternative routes as I "just drive around."

That might help. Coincidentally in the Dreamcase Review topic there was a video posted of how to remove the entire seat cushion to get the entire area flat. I probably won't go that far but at least now I know how!

I'm finding it here. Covercraft Weathershield HP Custom Car Cover I can choose model 3 with cutout for charging. Ventilation is not mentioned so not sure if that means charging port flap only or both port and battery ventilation cutouts.
