I believe they use a heat gun for frameless windows that drop down when you open, so the portion that tucks into the door will cure faster.

Visually, I prefer the look of the old one, especially with a wrap. But functionally, I prefer the new one because with the old one, I constantly have a fear of accidentally opening the lid while small objects are on it and risk falling into the unretrievable void that opens in the gap.

Used ones on the market are likely LR models, because for a long while last year, that was all that is available. The range/battery is the biggest differentiator for the price, so I wouldn't say its unreasonable that a a used LR model still costs more than a new SR+ model.

Yeah that is correct, you can do that now. At the time of my comment in September, that feature was not available yet in any Teslas as far as I was aware. Now it's a native share option, and in the current version of the Replug beta, you can share the route from Replug to your car now.

Ok I just came back from charging there, and its working fine...for now.

Are the chargers still active? That makes me feel slightly uneasy, as we're spending the Labor Day weekend in AC and I'm depending on that charger to get us home :eek:. I did recall seeing it still as open in the car's maps last night.

I received mine last week and it has 6 sticky dots on the back. The instructions only show 4. Maybe next week there'll be 8! With the 6 dots, it stays in place fine.

Yeah he set it at 40A at the HPWC because my breaker is 50A. Knob 8 on the dial inside. Gauge 3. Should be plenty if I want to upgrade to higher amperage in the future. I was told it can probably go up to 100A.
